Seems like you have too much cotton stuffed in the holes trim the tail of your wick & tuck them gently in the whole without stuffing

Thanks I'll try that.

Last night the resistance was changing and I think it's because of the screws that hold the coil in place. They never felt really secure when I screwed the coil in. I don't like those screws. Anyone know what size allen screws I can use?

Pascal's Law: "When you apply pressure to confined fluids, the fluids will then transmit that same pressure in all directions within the container, at the same rate".
Meaning when you fill the tank and open the JFC, the liquid rushes in the wick holes trying to elevate to the same level as the juice in the tank.
Try filling the tank with no wick on the coil and see what happens.
All they had to do was to make the air flow hole not so flushed to the deck or give the deck a little dome shape so the juice wouldn't run into the hole so easily.

Hi all. I trimmed the tails like Gallant suggested but I'm still getting a very dry flavorless vape. Any other suggestions? I'm using Japanese organic cotton and the wick isn't stuffed into the coil or anything.

The coil is 24 gauge SS316 and the inner diamater is 3mm coming out to 4 ohms.

I agree with @ Heartsdelight try 7 or 8 wraps 3 or 3.5 mm ID & move your coil closer to the side air flow & lift it a little up so the center of your coil lines up with holes on the side air flow.

Edit: If using Clapton wire 5 to 6 wraps is enough

How many watts or temp are u using? Shouldn't be dry o_O

27 watts and the temperature is set to 450F. I spoke too soon though. It's getting less and less dry.

to eliminate doubts I have to ask this silly question is your juice flow fully open?

Yup it's all the way open. I jumped the gun in my other post where I said it was too dry. It was but I guess the cotton wasn't fully saturated.

& what's your coil resistance is?

I'm using 24 gauge SS316 with an inner diameter of 3.5mm. Resistance is tiny bit over .4 ohms.

I'm not sure where that airflow is. I'll take another look next time I fill it up.

As to @Gallant 's silly question :D is your juice flow control open? And what's your ohm?
