Yeah it's all the way open. I tried editing my last post to respond to you all but I think I messed it up. The ohms are coming out a little over .4.
Did you rewrap your coil? You were at .4 ohms before & you're only a little over .4?![]()
Did you make sure your screws are in tight & no leads are sticking out? The ohms shouldn't jump. I'm not sure about locking the resistance, I only have 1 DNA mod & I lock the resistance. How is the flavor now? And the dryness? You primed it well after the new coil & wick right?Yeah I made another coil when you said the other one looked too long. I made the inner diameter 3.5mm like you recommended and I did between 7 & 8 wraps. Hmm...now the coil is .36 according to the Therion 166And I encountered a problem when I first put the wick in. The coil was originally a little over .4 ohms then it went to .2 ohms! So I was about to take the wick out. When I took out one of the tails from the juice well, the reading went back to .4 ohms. I lightly put the tail back in and the reading didn't change.
Edit: LoL now it's back to .42 ohms. Should I lock the resistance? I remember reading somewhere that the resistance shouldn't be locked on DNA stuff.
I've never needed to lock resistance on any mods except the sigelei ones and the g class. If the ohms are jumping there is a connection problem somewhere. I'd start by putting the atty on another mod just to remove the mod from the equation. But sounds like a loose screw to meDid you make sure your screws are in tight & no leads are sticking out? Edit: also your coil is not touching the deck or post right.
Screws seem to be tight. I pulled the coil slightly before wicking and it didn't budge. The flavor is a lot better and the dryness has subsided.
Yay!!! Mission Accomplished!Update: coil was touching deck. Raised coil. Immediate temp protection came on at every wattage. Wrapped new coil. Made damn sure coil was not touching deck. Made sure coil ends were secure. Rewicked. Ohm reading steady in power and temp mode. Took a little while but flavor and vapor are really good now. No dryness.
I don't.I left the airflow open last night. Forgot to close it. So this morning, I got Merlin RTA style leaking. Do you guys usually close the airflow on the EXO RTA when not in use?
No I just leave it. You mean seeping on the bottom that leaves a ring on your mod? Maybe not enough wicking?I left the airflow open last night. Forgot to close it. So this morning, I got Merlin RTA style leaking. Do you guys usually close the airflow on the EXO RTA when not in use?

Finally figured out a way to make this bad boy leak proof. I use rayon. That is probably why I've been getting a lot of leaks since rayon does not expand like cotton does.
I tucked a very thin layer of the wick under the coil so it would rest on the deck to collect any moisture accumulation on the deck.
It was leak free all day yesterday. Today it stated leaking again. The rayon is sitting on the deck just the way I wanted it to be too. Let me know how your rayon encounter goes.I had leaking that one time but it hasn't leaked again after putting in the restrictor. I'm going to try rayon again (been using cotton) some time this week.

Anybody using rayon without leaks on this bad boy? No matter how I make my wicks I get leaks.
