Yeah..... Heineken!!!!!! Loooool...Heineken!
Has anyone gotten flooding with rayon? The tank always floods when I fill it. I tried rewicking but the result is the same. The flooding isn't too crazy. I put some paper around the airflow and blow into the tank to get rid of the excess liquid then it vapes fine.
I haven't tried rayon in this one but I did have one time where liquid was pouring out the air holes. I chalked it up to bad wicking and haven't had a problem since I rewicked it.
Rayon & no floodingHeineken!

Do you block the juice flow with cotton?
Rayon & no flooding![]()
I put cotton in the holes to the bottom but not packed tight. I'm using 70/30 VG/Pg and it wicks great. I've got dual 3mm 316 coils that come out to .27. I've been running at 35 watts with no dry hits.
How long do you cut the tails. I cut it to the base & if 50% of the density is leaking try cutting off 40%. I have them tucked into the wick holes & they are fully covered but not packed. How much do you trim the tails and how far into the juice wells do you put them? I trim about half of the tails and tuck them all the way into the juice wells. Besides the flooding, the tank leaks a little too. It gets into the battery compartment of my Therion 166So far it hasn't actually gotten onto the batteries.
Hmm...I think mine are packed kinda tight but I'm not sure if that's good or bad for rayon.

I normally cut from the top but @TrollDragon cut from the bottom from which atty I forgot. So on the Pharaoh rta I decided to try his way from the bottom. What's nice with his way is let's say you cut 40% from the bottom but it's too much wick in the wick channel, you can pull it out & cut more. Then the rest of the wick just cut flush to the deck. The tails are long enough to fully cover the juice flow holes. I'm not sure if they're actually touching the bottom of the juice wells. I'll rewick it tomorrow and cut off less than 50% of the density. Should I cut from the bottom or the top of the tail density?
Both ways work fine.
I separated the wick lifted the top half away then cut the bottom on a angle then cut the top part of the wick flush to the deck.
No leaking problems & I just unscrewed the bottom from the tank & screwed it back with no problems. For your leaking try putting just a touch more wick.Has anyone else had leaking problems? Yesterday was the second time I've had leaking out of the air holes. I've checked to make sure that the deck is tight and checked my wick so that it wasn't touching the air holes. It only seems to leak when I lay it on its side. I might check the spare parts kit to see what orings it came with. Also I noticed since it was new that when I put the bottom back into the tank that it's a really tight fit and I have to move it around a little to get it to start. I wonder if I got a bad one?

I have never had any leaking out of the air holes, but I don't lay any of my tanks on their side either.Has anyone else had leaking problems? I fluff out the tails quite a bit to make sure that the juice channel is full of wick but not packed in.Yeah mine leaks almost every time I fill it. Everything's screwed in tight. My wick tails are all the way down covering the juice flow holes. I'm going to try putting them so they hang down just a little and see if that makes it any better.
