Mine when it leaks its not from the air flow holes. It comes from right above the air flow holes (where the thing turns to adjust the jfc). I don't know why it leaks from there. Could not figure out why
It leaks there because the base is press fit together, your JFC must be really loose as well.
My JFC was really loose too until I pressed the base bottom and threaded deck section a little tighter in the bench vise.

Your Slice is naked  how did you do that? The paint is pretty crappy, on my red Slice my finger slipped & I scratched the paint off in one spot. Used nail polish for now. Maybe I'll make mine naked if it's not too hard.

How do you like the Banshee? There was one in the sell section probably gone now.
The paint on the Slice is very poor quality easy to remove. I used some Circa 1850 stripper that I had in the shop. All you need is one coat and the paint will slide off with a plastic scraper.

The biggest part of removing the paint is all the prep work first. I chose to completely remove the board and 510 connector from the Slice before I started but you don't have to. It does makes it much easier to buff with the board removed, but that requires unsoldering the white wire going to the 510 connector. I also popped off the screen bezel so it wouldn't get scratched. You can push it out carefully from the other side until one corner lifts, it is held on with double sided tape.

After the paint is removed there will be a light color tinge left behind. I used superfine steel wool to remove the tinge and prep it for buffing. Cover all the magnets with masking tape so the steel wool dust will be easier to remove from them. I didn't do that part and spent quite a while picking steel wool bits off the magnets. I then buffed the pieces with a polishing wheel mounted in a hand drill.

Acetone nail polish remover should lift the paint as well and you might be able to just wipe it off.

I always wanted the Banshee for the novelty screen, efun.top had them on for $35 so I just had to have one. ;)

The rubber coating is great and the mod has a good feel and a nice battery door. Power mode works great and TC sort of works. There are different versions of the firmware on Ciggo's site that give you different words or lines on the screen after each vape and one that doesn't display any of that novelty stuff.

One thing is the 510 area is recessed and designed for 22mm attys, putting today's larger tanks on work fine but they will scratch the top. So I put two 22mm mod savers under the tank to fill that space and raise it a hair off of the mod. There is no USB charging, the port is only for firmware update.

It comes with me everywhere and I have no issues of any kind yet.

Uhm don't know if I could do all that to make mine naked  I'll wait & see if it gets worst, I'll remember what you said, thanks!
Thanks for your thoughts on the Banshee as well

So far I'm getting no leaks with the single coil deck. I was rather aggravated yesterday when I got to work and there was liquid running down the side of my mod with the dual deck installed. I heard back from gearbest this morning and they are going to give me a full credit.

Wow that's great! That's good customer service! Betcha fasttech wouldn't have. Did they require a video?

Mine doesn't feel very loose but there's usually a bit of liquid outside the tank between the airflow and the glass. That's in addition to the flooding.

They asked for one but I couldn't get it to upload so I complained about that too.

Day two with no leaks using the single deck. Yay! GB credited my wallet so now I've got a little over $23 to spend. The question is do I order another exo and try the dual deck again on the new unit or do I wait and order something else? I've got merlins, goblin mini, ammit, engine nano and mini, crius, and a bunch of other tanks as well as a regular engine rta on the way. I'm not sure what I want to try next.

Are you a Craver? Any Aromamizer gear in your stable? If not you need some! :D

The Ammit Dual looks like it could be a winner too.

Personally, I found the single deck to be a great vape. Which is good as the dual decks flat didn't work.
You'll like the Engine, one of my favorites.
Were it me, I'd get an Aromamizer Plus. Yeah, you'll have to throw a couple of extra bucks in, but you'll be happy you did.
GB and other Chinese sellers only seem to have the 10ml version. I got the combo box (5, 10, & 20) but have never used any but the 10.

Good that they stepped up and refunded you. I had the same result from a different tank a while back.

    Oh no! How?
Check fasttech if they don't have it now I'm pretty sure they will. They have replacements for most atties.

Edit: I just checked, not yet :(
Theres some on exo rta thread further back some one ordered space glass from alibaba

Put it away until the weekend.
I am, and shall always be, The King of Leaks. I have the single deck wicked, vaping beautifully, and most important, leakfree. For over a week! As you are new to this forum, that may not sound like anything unusual. For me, KoL, it's an honest accomplishment. I have three tanks that I can wick without error, this one, OBS Engine, Aromamizer Plus.

I'll rewick it, with photos and detailed method and post it for you on Sunday.
Take heart, if it doesn't leak for me, it doesn't leak.

    Thanks ShowerHead!

Hmm...mine leaks in that area. Can that be the reason why it floods when I fill it?

As much as I love the EXO but since you have it I would suggest that you order something else the Kylin from Vandy Vapes looks very promising

The exo is a joy to have and behold...I know I have said that b4 (even though it didn't work my Rx 2/3) it has every reason to leak.i just tried washing it out....It was a task...It has to break into like 5 parts....A leak can come from every of those parts not screwed in properly.i had a problem getting the jfc part off ....For a wash. That notwithstanding....The exo fits the bill in flavour and cloud production. I actually don't screw in all the parts that tight...Cos while trying to get it apart u might break that glass tank...And that's messed up. I don't really do a tight screw fit....Finally u guys are the best...
