After talking with some mates who own the Tornado and gave it good reviews I thought I would purchase one and give it a go. I have been using a Grifin 25 as my daily tank for some time and thought I needed a change.

As soon as I had the Tornado in my hands I put two claptons in the T4 to see how it goes. I also put 4x twisted coils in the T6 and gave that a shot also. Building on both desk was relatively easy, wicking was a breeze, no leaking at all, they both produce great vapour production and good flavour however I do have a couple little issues with it though. Not sure if this is common or if mine has a fault.

When all screwed together the glass tank spins freely as if the top and bottom aren't screwed together properly. Even when I screw it together as tight as I can get it. It is like the glass tank is half a mm too short.

The other issue is there is side to side play when screwed into my Reuleaux. I swapped it out with my Atlatus, Zephyrus, TFV4 and Griffen 25 to check that and there is no play and none of them have any play at all. Screwed the Tornado back on tight and still has play. It is like the 510 is a little too narrow.

Also after watching reviews I was under the assumption that iJoy supplied a couple of their notch-style TSS coils with the tank but I only received two claptons. I can only assume iJoy have stopped supplying the TSS.

Any one here have the Tornado and experience the same issues?

I have emailed iJoy but have had no response as yet.

Cheers

Yeah it spins quite freely but no leaking.

I built 4 coils on the T6 deck, pur enough wick in each coil so there was some resistance while pulling it through the coils, pushed the coil chamber on so the wicks were hanging out the bottom then trimmed to size, pulled chamber off and wet up the wicks (underneath the wicks that run down to the well then laid them down and wet the rest), once drenched I put the chamber back on and pocked all loose wick in. There is a fair amount of wick in there and was pretty hard to push the chamber on.

Did the same with a dual build on the T4 deck with no leaking issues. Hope this helps.

A solution to ur loose glass problem: I just had the same exact problem with the glass spinning freely after assembling the tank. Spent a lot of time finding the source of the problem. When I removed the chimney/build deck assembly, I saw that the bottom of the build deck was flush with the chimney on one side (as it should be) but sticking out past the chimney on the other side of the chimney. Not sure why it went together that way, but when I put it together correctly the tank glass was no longer loose. Hope this fixes ur problem too.
