Thanks wworrells that's good to know, hey cigatron when you rewicked you're chip coil did you pull the cotton up then cut it and then tucked it in or are we able to thread it thru the wicking holes ?
I would like to know how he rewicked it as well. On my chip coil, the holes were not lined up exactly with the coil itself. I ended up not bothering and just tossed it.

So I rewicked the RBA head and this time I bent the wick tails up out of the coil collar and trimmed it so the tails was poking out about 1/4 inch above the top of the coil. Then I tucked the wick into the wick channels and so far after 4 tanks of juice, no leaks at all and it is wicking well. When I tucked the wick into the wick channels, I also used my ceramic tweezers to spread out the wick by going from the outside of the coil to ensure that the wick was filling the entire channel.

I fed the wick through a juice hole, then through the coil, then up and out. Then I cut it off and extended both tails above the collar and cut them off. Then I pushed them down against the juice holes. Not to difficult but not as easy as a subtank mini v2 rba or protank. I did however overwick and will have to reduce the wicking density to obtain peak performance out of the chip coil. There's really no reason these coils shouldn't chain vape at 100w. I'll crack the code eventually.

26 gauge SS 316L, 8 wraps, 2.5 mm diameter coil. With dual coils, it measured out to be 0.27 ohms.

I noticed that the juice holes on my coil was not aligned with the coil. I did place an order for 3 packages of the prebuilt 0.3 ohm coils, but they are in preorder, so hopefully they will be available soon. I do have a spare, but I was saving it since the last coil lasted me only 4 days, but I was using it a lot. Next time I will give it a shot at rewicking it.

We only get 1 pre made coil in the package no? The reviewers also stated that original packaging would include notch coils but from what I've seen that's not the case either, which leads me to that black plastic drip tip,how lame is that thing, they should have charged us an extra .50 cents and included that chuff cap that looks cool as hell imo,I can't even find a place that as those accessories in stock :-x

I pre-ordered the prebuilt coils from Heaven Gifts. They're $10 for a package of 5, but because I ordered it during their Dragon Boat Festival sale, I got 15 percent off. With the 26 gauge SS316L, I am vaping it at 40 watts. I've tried it as high as 50 watts, but once I started going above that, I could tell that the wicking is starting to not be able to keep up. I am using it on a Sigelei 213, and in TC mode, it was setting the starting wattage at 56 watts, and then when I'm vaping it drops down to around the 26 watt range. I like a warmish vape, so typically with TC coils I will set the temp around 480-500, but with the SS coil on the Sigelei 213, I set it around 520. This is a little bit higher than with my other SS TC mods, like the Cuboid, that I set at 500. With SS, I still prefer wattage mode rather than TC mode. In power mode, you get a consistent vape. In TC mode, when TC kicks in, it "feels" like it isn't working (you don't get the audible clue of a sizzle on the coil), even though it is and is still producing vapor.

Thanks a lot jseah I really appreciate it,can I bother you to ask if you are spacing your coils or just tight wrap ? I also could have sworn I saw in another thread that you also purchased the chuff cap for that bad boy! If so where did you get it? I want one badly cause I think it looks better but cannot find them anywhere?

Thanks as well for sharing your tc experiences,I think I'll try it out in wattage mode as you suggested, does ss wire vape as well as kantal in power mode?
Prior to companies coming out with TC profiles for SS, SS was used in power mode. Honestly, I cannot tell the difference between vaping using SS or kanthal, however so people do say that SS has a cleaner taste?

The package didn't include spare notch coils, it included a pair of twisted coils for the RBA head.

The juice holes didn't line up on mine either so I used needle nose pliers to turn the ceramic chip so they would line up horizontally. Vertically the holes will never line up. My little adjustment hasn't seemed to affect the res so far.
