The juice holes did line up on mine either so I used needle nose pliers to turn the ceramic chip so they would line up horizontally. Vertically the holes will never line up. My little adjustment hasn't seemed to affect the res so far.
I wasn't able to move the ceramic chip at all. When I tried to rotate it, it cracked on me.

Hi jseah,I still would like to know when you build you're ss coils and run them in power mode if you build tight coils or spaced coils? Thanks bud..
Sorry.....I build spaced coils. With only 8 wraps, a spaced coil will perfectly fit over the large bottom air hole. I think I want to rebuild with a new coil. I believe I have found the perfect wick length, having the wick extend about 1/8 inch above the top of the coil results in the coil reaching the bottom of the juice channel perfectly, however I also think that having the coil being just 2.5 mm in diameter results in the wick not being thick enough to fill the channel. I am getting several drops of juice leaking whenever I refill the tank. I think I will try doing a 10 wrap coil at 3 mm.

One thing to keep in mind too is that if you are using a simple single wire coil, it won't take as much wattage to heat up as a Clapton, or even the twisted wire that iJoy uses in the chip coil. With the chip coil, I was vaping at 45-50 watts while with my current coil build, I'm vaping it at 35 watts.

Here is my latest build. Dual coils, 26 gauge SS316, 3 mm diameter, 12 wraps. Measures out at 0.39 ohms (mod rounded down since it detected the coil as 0.397 ohms). Pinched the coils while dry firing it to ensure that there was no hot spots, then strummed the coils to even them out. The space in the outer wraps doesn't affect even heating. Vaping it in power mode at 50 watts and it is smoother than my previous build at 35 watts. The length of the coil fits the length of the bottom airflow perfectly. In SS316 TC mode, the vape is a little weak. I think because the mod rounded down the coil resistance so the temp protection is a little off.

Thanks for the pics bud that helps out a lot to actually see it,I'll try the same build as soon as I get it,did you check out djslb vapes?
Yeah, I had watched his video this past weekend. Actually I think 50 watts is a tad too high for these coils. I'm using max VG juice and if I start chain vaping, the wicking is just starting to have a problem in keeping up. I lowered it to 48 watts and can chain vape without the wick starting to taste like it is drying out.
