Spectrum is where I purchased my replacement tank. It is size #8... I still haven't received it yet, so I can't verify that it actually fits the 2.1 clone. Hopefully tomorrow it will be here though.

Edit... Spectrum tank came in and is too big!! Needed larger o-rings. Then when setting up dual coils, o-ring that holds top cap on snaps and breaks, then to make things even worse tank shorted, (SS rope in wick hole), and melted the insulator plug on +post... Not sure where to get one so I am giving up for the moment... Not a good day at all...

Wow sry to hear about all the trouble your having. Hope everything works out. When I said I paid $111 that was including the ikarus, the 18500 tube, and the kick ring.

Well that's good to know the cost of the device was included... I still haven't had a chance to get my tubes over to my friend for inspection, but will soon...

Dddang! That's not good at all. Sorry for your troubles man!

I'm better today. Got an email from Venerable last night and he is sending me another body, (-glass & top cap), so I can at least put mine back together. I think I know where it all went terribly wrong. After putting everything away yesterday I noticed I used the 3/32" SS rope wicks, (for the RSST), and not the 5/64" that was previously in there. I'm not positive, but wouldn't doubt that is what caused my problem. Total user error on my part. You know sometimes the mind just goes off in another direction sometimes and not much you can do about it... I should have it back up and vaping in a week or so. Damn glad I had the Natural Hybrid to fall back on for now!!!

I'm not surprised....AJ, the owner of Venerable Vaping, is a class act and does right by his customers. I've been following this thread and I'm glad to hear that things are getting better...I was going to buy one of these, but backed off when I found out that it was 18350 only...that's about the only reason...:)

Yeah, I have kept an open dialog with Andy since receiving my 2.1 and he's a pretty good guy for sure. I was worried about the 18350's as well but I don't have a problem with changing out a battery or two throughout the day. I always have at least 2 in my back pocket at all times it seems.

I have figured out something about using 18350's in a rebuildable here lately. I changed my setup from a 28g 3/4 1Ω SS rope w/ SS mesh wrapped beneath the coil over to same setup except XS-18 in place of the SS mesh and battery life fell tremendously off of what I was getting. It would just take the Nextel way too long to heat the rope up and was just sucking the life out of my batteries. Was getting on average of 1 1/2-2hrs out of a freshly charged battery. Have switched back to the SS mesh and I am getting a solid 4hrs per charge...

I have missed mine over the past week. I really like the fact the 2.1 is compact and can deliver quite a punch if set up properly. In the mean time while I am awaiting the replacement from Venerable, I have found some new o-rings for the new tank I received from Spectrum and might add, the smoke colored tank does look very nice on it. I will post some pics when I get back and setup. I am sure your review will be straight forward and to the point as always Twisted...

Amen brother. This thing EATS batteries. Might be due to the resistance of my single coil, about .6Ohms. But yeah, it takes two battery changes to empty the tank. I still diggit though. I'm eager to see how you drilled out the air hole. I need to do that but all I have is a fairly dinky dremmel and I don't want to mar up the device. I'm pretty good at doing that. Ruined the top cap on my Hybrid Elite doing that....

Thanks guys! I must say I love the little feller so far! Kinda wish I could use a bigger battery but I understand this was mainly built for 18350. Definately wouldn't leave the house with this little feller alone. lol

Just used a drill and a simple small bit....lol Also what 18350's are you using at .6ohm?

I left the house all the time with mine. Still do with the Natural Hybrid. Just put a couple of batteries in my back pocket and i'm good for the day. I have 4 18350's in rotation so no be deal. In fact all I use are 18350's at the moment. I as well as you, would like to use something bigger, but I get by with what I have. I dig the small form factor of my devices. Not a lot of bulk to them at all...

regular ol' Efests. Like I said, they don't last real long. I take 'em out and recharge as soon as the vape falls off.
They're usually around 3.4V when this happens.

Here's why i ask...... .75 is the lowest you should go with those batteries.....safely. lol

Hey big ups for that chart! I know these batteries are underpowered, but I have yet to build a coil with resistance that high that I actually like. I should probably give it another shot though.

I do pay close attention to the battery tube when I'm using it, and I've never felt it get warm. But, I'm aware of the safety issues. I'm saving that chart though, for future and frequent reference. :)
