Actually they're all fresh from the V2 kettle. The 1.5 version is the 2nd production attempt at the 1.5 XLR series in general. They're tweaked for heat slightly higher and smoother than the 1st set of 1.5s that we made that were in 510 models. It's best to start off at safe point then gradually refine to test our limits with the current filaments. Just like the 1.5 510 the io6 will Not scorch in anyway unless abused,( ran dry, dry burning, proper adding of liquids) The io6 v2 overall, has the new 1.5 formation. The mesh hasn't been wrapped as tight and were heavily monitored, so there will be No extremely restricting draws or chances of it. By applying the mesh at a safe medium this also enables the io6 to keep one of it's cornerstones against leaking.
The V2 of the io6 Driptipts are also here. They have been fortified near the bottom to prevent cracks or breaking. There wasn't a reported issue of this happening with the V1 so they will still be availible as it was brought to the attention that they are compatible with Empiremods.com Drip shields. And the way Keith is firing off the craziest types of DS's it would be a crime to eliminate the 1st gen of the io6 DT. So both will remain.

On a side note: Its curious that the old site is still showing. For a little while we all got the error page which is what we should have gotten until the DNS updated. Seems like something is misaligned somewhere. There are several IKV patrons that are pros with database management and server maintenance so maybe they can lend some input.
