Hey guys,

I'm new to vaping so I'm slowly getting to experience all of the methods available to vape. So far my boge/liquinator is my go to.

I just recently got myself a IKV I06 3.5ohm atty with a siam mods drip tip/shield and have some questions regarding its performance.
At first, I did as instructed on many reviews regarding dripping atty's ... blow out primer, 3-4 drops to prime, then top off with 3-4 etc etc.
But I'm finding that I have to almost flood it or flood it completely for it to perform properly. If not, I'm getting a very nasty metallic taste to any juice I drip into it. Vapour production is always good, but it gurgles like no tomorrow for it to taste good.
If I drip only the 3 drops = burnt, metallic taste .. pull off the shield and can immediately see that the coil glows orange within 1-2 seconds .. which I believe is a bad thing?

So is this normal for this type of atty .. needing it to almost be flooded to taste properly?

Hooked up to a ProVari running between 5.0-6.0v with a AO reading of 3.7ohms

I should also mention that when I first got it that the taste I was experiencing was totally unexpected and thought I got a dud. And so I decided to try some cleaning methods ..
-filling with pg/vg and blowing it out through the battery end .. numerous times
-putting it in boiling water for several minutes and blowing it out.

What does it meter at?

From my ikv atomizer thread:

IO6 = 4 drops directly on bridge, let sit for 30 seconds, vape. Top off with 2-3 drops as needed.

it meters at 3.7ohms .. don't get me wrong .. when its working .. WOW, the flavour, vapor production .. unbelievable!

But with all these reviews etc on here and on youtube .. you'd think it works right of the bat?

either way ... its a learning curve and am happy with it ... good for tasting flavours before you commit to throwing a whole lot in a tank.

Hello Iken, I placed and recieved an order last week, all was good, i have one item to return. I already got the RMA, so no problems. I was confused as I received another email saying you had sent me another package order placed on 8/9/12. It gave me a tracking number but I have not seen any updates to the tracking. Hi, Isaac! I've read many wonderful things about your fusion cartos and wanted to give them a try. I just received my beautiful new 5ml SS Liquinator tank but found that I can't use my Smoktech XL cartos because of the flange.

I want to try the Fusion cartos, I know that I need an adapter to use them on my Ego Twist. Will the 510 to 801 stealth adapter work? I've read here that it will work for one person, but not for another.

Does anyone know if the 510 to 801 stealth adapter work with the Mega Fusion carto and the Ego Twist?

Thanks for all help, tips and suggestions! I can't wait to use my new lovely!

Have the swirled/colored iO6 drip tips be discontinuted? Or will they be available again someday? I know many didn't like them, but I do, and would like to get some replacements.

Any Idea when you will get more stock in of the 801 fusions, I got one from a buddy and I love it. Im tempted to buy the Boge 801s. Has anyone used the boge fusions? Im sure everyone here will say that the Ikv are worth the wait and the extra money. Any unbiased comparisons?

A friend from a while back had sent me a Liquinator 5ml tank and for the past few weeks I finally fell in love with using it on the punch lines. Both 510 and Fusions have been beautiful. We also tweaked the Platinum Punch to restrict the draw just a bit for that Fusion feel. By it's own right it should be named the 510 Fusion. Both of these lines work extremely well with it. It took quite a while but I finally completed the 510-801 adapters which are 100% compatible with Fusions. I was hoping to have the listings up this week along with a few other exotic goodies. Oh and Ps, I use an Ego Twist as my go-to.

Hi Avid! I'm so glad everything is going great finally! I always keep reserves and right when I complete todays orders. I'll post back and let you know of the update.

There isn't anything that vapes as good as a Fusion, a mega 808 or a platinum and the punch series are just all the nicer. I love the looks of the new fusion punch's better too. Oh and it's extremely nice to see you here at home again.

Sure thing - I'll take you up on the offer. I'm pretty good at custom fitting tight ones. All it takes is heat and high grit paper at one end and a drill bit to open the mouth end. Just let me know how to pay for the shipping.

I don't think so, but then again I cannot confirm if this is the classical It accepts 2.5ml, the Fusion and Platinum sts slightly above the..I think it would be best to take a quick snapshot. the Standard Fusion is 40mm total from the top of the base to the tip it’s 35mm in the pic below is a Fusion Punch Standard, with new stealth adapter and ego twist. A Drip tip secures this set up.
