Yes Madam. Turn it until the carto and the adapter join together. That will bring the center pin down. That will make great contact with the device. Also the carto won't be as airy. I'm getting massive clouds from this setup.

Ah, the little pointer thing that connects with the battery sticks out further. Well that how it appears to me.

Okay, next question. With dual coil cartos, I hear the pop-pop front the dual coils. Should I be hearing that from the Fusions? All I'm hearing is sizzling. Is that normal?

Thanks.

Popping is from air in between the coil and the wick. It depends on how tight that coil was wrapped.

There you are!
did you ever get my email sweet ♥? Was waiting on your reply  The pointy end of the adapter is the 510 connection, you would want to turn the 801 side to the left (counter clockwise) this will make the 510 side not stick out so much and will raise the 801 side to establish a solid connection between the adapter and Fusion. Just incase if you didn't get my email, sizzling is good, our coils are meant to that for a smooth burn and solid feeling :)

Hi, everyone. Having some issues today with my LR mega fusions. First off, I must say that I'm using a 510-801 stealth adapter that I purchased through a 3rd party, and I've had success with it in the past. I do, however, plan on purchasing an adapter from IKV in the next day or so. But, in the meantime, I need help lol. I'm using these cartos in a tank. The first time punched my own holes, filled it up (I use 100% VG juice that's thinned out a bit from Dripeez) and, I had great success. That was a couple weeks ago. I've tried punching an filling a couple of other cartos today, and things are going very poorly. First one, I punched too far, and punctured the center airtube. Second one was just a flat out dud. Third and most recent one, don't think I punched too far, because when I filled it up, I'm not getting any gurgling or anything. It's also firing well, but I'm just getting dry hits. It's been a couple of hours now and it's still dry. I've tried adding more juice, and still dry. Any ideas?

Did you prime the carto from the top? When I first fill a fresh one, I always give the top a good soaking, give it a little time, then blow out any excess onto a tissue. You need to establish good wicking of eliquid right from the start.

(Once it's going okay it self-sustains. The top part of the carto may actually end up pretty dry, that's okay, the carto will just wet the portion of filler that is needed, once you get it started.)

A dedicated carto punch can be handy. I came up with one, there's a DIY carto punch thread in the PIF area. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/272989-diy-carto-punch-8.html Very consistent, reproducible, results -- tighten the screw until it just touches the carto, then two full turns (I use a small cheap hex wrench). Put in two holes, on opposite sides of the carto.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, I tried soaking the top, which I normally don't do, and it was still hitting pretty dry. So weird that this was happening, because the first fusion I used worked so well. I have the carto punch from avid vaper. I've definitely ruined a couple cartos with it lol. By full turns, do you mean 180 degrees or 360?

Like I said, I get my juice from Dripeez, 100% VG. They offer the juice in 2 different thicknesses, and I've been using the thicker one. I just ordered the thinner kind, so we'll see how that goes. And I'm definitely gonna get the stealth adapter from IKV. Honest question: what's different about the new IKV adapter?

When I fill my tank cartos. I add 20 drops from the top first. Then I insert the carto into the tank. I fill the tank with a syringe. Put it all together. Then I start to draw over and over, making sure that I see the bubble appear with each draw. I keep this up until the bubble stops (about 15-20 times). Then I wait 20 minutes to make sure it's wicked. Then I attach it to a device. I take short hits first to slowly break in the carto. After about 20 times it's starts to wick like a champ.

I only punch one hole in my carto. I get a better vacuum using one hole. But that's just me. :)

Jimi, I'm gonna do just that next time. Thanks for the well-detailed instructions!

I used to punch mine with an awl and hammer but since the Fusion Punch came out I'm using them now. I put the lower condom back on the carto and fill them full, 25 to 30 drops. Then I put them in the tank and fill the tank.
Try puffing a few real hard puffs without firing the pv. That will bring more juice into the carto from the tank. It sounds like the hole is too small.

:) 5c it ain't the end of the world yet. Ya ever heard of DIY I never have a juice problem ;) Man would hate to be in your shoes fusions and IKV's tobacco. You sir have a problem ;) I still love ya bro :D

I tried that DIY and I still got empty glass eyedropper bottles from that deal. I can do a lot of stuff but mixing juice I like isn't one of them. I've already got a tanker truck on it's way to Isaac's front door with instructions to sit and wait until he has more.
