Confirmed, VG liquids will fry attomizers if you drip! I switched to PG and noticed a huge difference in my atty life span!

GrimmGreen or someone needs to give out a youtube warning for drippers to stay away from too much VG, unless they like spending hundreds on attys!
Ah ha! so we found our culprit, good job for staying on this Stew!
From what I was able to gather, flavor art uses diacetyl in some of thier flavors they have info on their website.
Ugh, great. I just received an order of 10x10ml bottles from a supplier that has a flavour art banner on their site. Last night I was wondering why I was getting a heavy butter flavor from Butterscotch.

I have a new Phidias coming to me direct from Fono. I asked for suggestions on good attys for them and a lot of people answered "IkenVape". I have two questions...

1. Which attys do you most recommend for 3.7 vaping on a Phidias? (I primarily vape dark, sweet juices from TastyVapor)

2. Is it better to keep the bridge and wick when using in a bottom feeder and if so, will I get the "burnt" taste that I get from just about every other atty I've ever used with the bridge and wick? (right now, I ALWAYS remove the bridge and wick because of the burnt taste I get with them installed while dripping)

Thanks in advance!!

Thank you BM, I'm sorry for not thanking you before. This is most worrisome and a NEED to know by many.

Hello,
For 3.7V it depends on your style of vaping. Such as, do you prefer to take deeper hits or slow drags, flavor vs actual feel (Throat hit). Cartridges vs dripping, cartomizers to atomizers
For 3.7V in general I would recommend any of the 2.0 atomizers and any of the Premium and Fusion cartomizers. If you would like to get into the flavor field, the 801 2.0's will definitely not steer you wrong. Using the same liquids on an 801 and a 510 is literally a world of difference. A 306 is also a bit better in the flavor department when in comparison to the 510. A 510 atomizer is primarily based on actual feel and vapor production only. While the 510 cartomizer enhances the atomizer's downfall.

For Q#2 I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with bottom feeders to give you the proper advice.
Which IkenVape 510 cartomizer works best with Riva, and eGo's and can be filled from the top, (without a syringe), like a kr808 carto can be filled?

Thank you :)
Hi Natalia,
You can fill all of our cartomizers through the bottom or top with no syringes needed :D
For an Ego or Riva, I would go with the Platinum or Gold label. They both fare very well. My personal preference is the Gold, because I had a chance to get much more involved with the building development. It can hold roughly 30 drops, burns very smoothly and lasts quite a while. The Platinum however, burns much faster, it goes through liquid faster and doesn't have a thick enough environment to retain a grand amount of liquid, the perk you get with the sacrifice is harder actual feel, bigger vapor production and flavor. Economy vs Performance.
The MEGA 808 is really only good for 5V, but the MEGA 510 we just developed has changed the game. The Beta tests are occurring now in our sub-forum as our testers are still receiving. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-510-drip-style-cartomizer-beta-progress.html

Hi Iken,

I purchased the Gold, they arrived today. I filled one immediately, (very easy to fill). I couldn't believe how much it held! I started using it about an hour ago. I'm getting amazing taste and vapor out of my very first 510 cartomizer ever. Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. :)

Very much appreciating IkenVape,
Nat

Hi Nat,
That's great news!!! I'm so happy for you! and Thank you very much for letting me know! It's all the more rewarding and such a great feeling to know that you have your bliss. If I may recommend checking in to see the 510 Dripstyle Mega. It's really the same size externally as the 510 cartomizer here. The MEGA takes place in the inside of the unit by extended the filler and utilizing the features in the Kr808 Mega giving off great flavor and almost identical vape to the 510 Gold.
Thank you so much again!

My beloved friend was performing poorly of late, it just seemed it wasn't getting the current required to fire the atty adequately, regardless of keeping the unit clean and in tip top shape. The culprit, dirty switch contacts. Hey after 7 months of serious use, it is to be expected. I replaced my switch in about 15 minutes, having filed to memory the video on switch replacement some time ago. It was easy peasy and my lizard is performing like a champ once again. PVs aren't rocket science, well some are. The upcoming all mechanical lizard should alleviate this problem. My lizard has served me well and I missed vaping on it. The Polar Bear is once again happy:)

I only drip and dip and mainly Vaperite 100 vg. and do not fry attys. Then again I use all Cisco's and Ikens and pulse them

I am pretty new to cartos and recently purchased some IKV 510 Cartomizer Drip-Style and some of your Premium IKV 510 Cartomizer (Soft Tip) Gold during your cyber Monday sale. I must say, I love the the Premium IKV's but the the Drip-Styles taste worse than anything I have ever tasted before! Is here anything I can do to get rid of the nastiness? FYI, I am an eGo vaper.

Hi Peeps...
I have on order a veriable voltage device, which I hope to receive in a couple of weeks.

Currently, I have a supply of LR510's which I use for my Ali'i. However, I've read that I won't get the range of vaping experience, using a LR on a VV.

Do you recommend the standard IKV 2.5Ω 510 Atomizer for a vv device? I will be dripping... (well, not ME, personally, but you know what I mean...)

Also, are there any smokey transparent drip tips for a 510 atty? I prefer to drip, and would love a clear drip tip!

Thanks for your response, in advance, and happy hannukah!

Hi Shel,
I found a clear 510 drip tip for you via google, Transparent Drip Tips for 510/901/808D-1/801 (Delrin) As far as saying 801,510,901, I don't really trust that they'll fit an 801.
Atomizers are very flexible to a point. You can use the 2.0Ω 3.4V all the way up 4.5V. The 2.5Ω will take you from 4.5V-5.2V. the 3.5Ω will take you from 5V to 6.6V. That's just recommendation though. You see, everything is based on what Your preference is. Take Switcher's post for example. He prefers the cooler, more flavorful and high vapor over actual feel (TH, Throat hit) So he uses an XHV that's recommended for 7+V just fine on 6V, or the 3.5Ω on 5V because that's his personal bliss that drives his love for vaping. I would suggest just to try things out so you can gauge what kind of preference you really have. You'll be surprised by your results of experimenting. Even when you think you have found the perfect vape, a single atomizer can change your world entirely.

I only ask, because ECF displays your state is PA. As the email asked if I'm in Allentown or Bethlehem.
I'll do a dual post just in case.

I just Googled Missy's wetbox as I wasn't sure which voltages will work or what kind of batteries it takes to properly answer your questions..
It uses a 14500 (AA sized) 3.7V battery. I would recommend an AW IMR for a steady 4.1V output. Typically 2 Cr2 3.0V batteries are the same length of a 14500, but I can't recommend using 6volts on the unit because I'm not sure of the tolerance on the switch being used. By appearance, you may want to stick with a 3.7V battery. Judging by your mentioned preferences. Try out a Cisco 1.5Ω 510 atomizer (If it has a 510 fitting?) They do burn trough juice at a fast rate, but also gives a heavy throat hit. I'm working on 1.5, but will not release till they are at our standards. As for your question on the charger, I would recommend looking into a Trustfire TR-001 or UltraFire WF-139 or 188.
If you need help looking for the mentioned items, I'll be happy to look for you.
We're right on the outskirts of Allentown and Whitehall so meeting to save on shipping wouldn't be a problem. :)
