Ikenvape RY4: the return of the legendary RY4 of yore

Being the patient person that I am [NOT], I dripped the RY4 into a fresh IKV LR901 anyway. It did take some time to sink in, of course, but it works like a charm.

It's a little on the thick/strong for me on my box mod if I draw as long as I do with other atties/cartos. That of course is just a testament to the LR901's performance (I've been avoiding using these on fresh-off-the-charger batteries because they are too strong @ the 4v+ they start at for me). As long as I pay attention/retrain myself to not hold the button so long [3 seconds seems to be more than enough for me with these cartos and this juice], it's perfect. Hopefully the shorter heating duration will help it last a bit longer too.

I'll try to remember to report how long it lasts me. At least I now have this to mark the start time.

Thanks for the update on the RY4 juice. I'm waiting for delivery of both PG and VG juice, and from the flavor described, it sure seems like what I've been looking for over last few months. Tried so many RY4 variations from so many vendor that I can't even keep track of them. I'm hopeful that this is IT.

Hmmm...I have a IKV Gold V2 I've been waiting for the right juice to try in, as well as a few more fresh LR901 carts that I'm pretty sure will fog a large room combined with this juice. How long do your carts last you? All I've read so far is that VG cuts the life by something like 30-50%.

Not sure yet, still going. I've been using the mega mostly since last week. I've put probably 6-7mls through it thus far. I don't use it fulltime, I rotate between a VV Ali'i, a GGTS+UFS and a GG slim depending on my mood or activity. I've already cracked my 2nd 20ml bottle, I need to slow down a bit

OK, well, I guess I won't find out. I'm not positive it's the case, but it doesn't seems to be wicking properly at my vape speed and I don't really want to push it. So, I changed that carto to a similar (but certainly less-enjoyable) PG tobacco I have on hand.

Oh well. I'm loving this stuff dripped anyway.

Never tried the legendary Dekang RY4... but Im a hugggee vanilla fan. Ill be trying this on my next IKV order... which wont be long! Glad to hear of the 70/30 mix... that is golden!

EDIT: Dont see anything that designates a 70/30 pg/vg blend... am I missing something?

I didn't see any 70/30 mix either, so I ended up ordering both PG and VG versions. Plan on mixing them myself if needed.

I believe the PG mix is 70/30 PG/VG and the VG mix is 70/30 VG/PG.

Just like the original, but a slightly cleaner and more luxurious version. Rich, and wonderful.

Just wanted to comment that I've been vaping for a few months now and have been through well over 30 flavors from 6 vendors. This is the first and only one I've been compelled to enjoy all day (normally I change up a many times during the day). An absolute winner in my book. I love the convenience of carts, but have been so hooked on this stuff I've even been taking my drip setup (since this is VG) on the road too.

Maybe its the fact that I've pretty much used my own pure menthol (menthol essence and VG) and I haven't have not used any tobacco flavors consistently for over 6 months...but I find the tobacco note of this liquid a bit too strong for my taste. My memories of the original RY4 was that it was more subtle than this.

I think I ought to chock that up to my taste buds being different now or something but this is definitely the tastiest/closest match to the original I've ever tried.

I got mine today!! It is not like the PS Riskee that I used to love, however it is the best RY4 I have found since. Excellent work Isaac!!! I think the Riskee and a few other Chinese Ry4 (i.e. Heavans gifts) had a small amount of cotton candy flavor and a little less on the tobacco side... I always remember when i used to stealth vape at my desk at work that our graphic artist used to always say she smelled cotton candy after I'd been vaping the PS Riskee!!
