I have tried the IKV LR Cannon, and really liked every aspect of them accept for the leakage. Try and try as I may, but I could never get them to work well for more than 10 minutes before a serious flood in my drip cup. Its a shame really, because I very much liked the flavor and vapor production.

So my next purchase is the IKV 801 LR Mini Stealth. While there I also purchased a low profile 510 - 801 adapter. I would like to know if anyone else has tried this setup, and if this is the right adapter to use on my Reo Grand. I think Avid also sells a stealth adapter and was about to get that one instead but I really wanted to avoid multiple orders from different vendors.

BTW- while at IKV I also ordered an i06 and the drip tip for it. Would love to get feedback on both setups if anyone has tried either/both.
Thanks!

I've used the 801 Mini + stealth adapter on my Grand. It works great.

Tip: Screw the adapter into your atomizer first, but don't torque it in super tight. After it's in, observe the bottom post. If it protrudes beyond the threads at all, remove the adapter and press it firmly on a hard flat surface to moosh the center post back in flush with the threads. Then screw the adapter only into your Reo until it just starts to resist turning anymore. Then screw your atomizer onto the adapter, again stopping just when you feel a bit of resistance. If there is any kind of gap between the adapter and the base of the atty, live with it. Over-tightening will put you at a much greater risk for a short circuit and a collapsed spring.

The i06 is ok, but I don't like the tight draw. Others absolutely love it.

As Mudflap mentioned, the i06 does have a tighter draw. Which was a the biggest flaw that I found with it. It doesn't hold as much liquid as advertised. The vapor production and TH was nice actually but, the draw killed it for me. Since I found myself taking annoyingly long draws to get a proper vape from it. The drip tip is odd and should've at least been extended. Which was the biggest problem for me besides how it is shaped. To be honest, I hate the i06.

Everything in vaping is very subjective. So, what doesn't work for one person might work great for another. You will have to find out for yourself if you like it or not. All I can do is give my personal opinion of what I've experienced when I used it.

I enjoy both of these Atty's very much, the Mini-801 for dripping and the flavor I get from it along with the thick vapor, it's a pure drip vape drip vape drip vape Atty and works as so, there is a bit of a learning curve to using an 801 as well, ya gotta try not to flood it and also not to run it to dry at the same time, I usually prime mine with 4-6 drops vape a bit then add 1-2 drops at a time to keep it where I like it while using it. As for the io6 I also enjoy this on my Darwin for dripping very much, set at the right Watts it produces amazing vapor for me and with only 4-5 drops of liquid you get a lot of vapes from it, some like it on there Reo's but I prefer another Atty on my Reos and use these other 2 Attys for dripping Mode only.

Really. Care to share which is your preferred on the Reo.

1st= HH-357 1.5ohm All the way, also like 306's, and if I'm going HV then the HH-357 3ohm OR Iken 3.5ohm HV-510 All work well on the Reo's but the HH-357 is my fav Atty at this point and time !

I'd also like to say that someone needs to make a 510-801 SEALED ADAPTER for 801's

{edit} You are probably talking about an atty connection adapter. Nevermind and, otherwise, the info below is good for anyone who has an 801 connection and wants to use their neat 510 attys.

My solution for using any 801 attys/cartos is having several WOOD REOs with 801 connection.

I've been really happy with the SuperT SS 801 to 510 adapter. Scroll down about 1/3 and it is shown in picture with blue Vapemate. They are out of stock right now. One nice thing I like about these adapters is that I have some of the original IKV 801 Mini that have the bridge too close to the top to use just about all DTs. The Super T adapter will fit in those without messing with the bridge. I don't know how many people still have the original 801 Mini, though. I still have several. They are almost indestructible.
