Love this thing! Thank you so much Iken

I've run it on my Riva 510 and my Echo with an adaptor and it works flawlessly. CLOUDS of vapor, incredible flavor, flawless wicking, no dry hits, etc

I did wiggle it off as well just to see if it worked, so my assumption at this point is that one can get loads of mileage out of this thing with cleaning, dry burns, and re wicking/ re coiling

just a link to some positive comments I left

thanks!

Nope, but he is planning on it :)

we definitely need him to work on these... they are such a good idea but are in need of a few changes...

prone to micro cracks at the base: solved by pressing into a metal ring or other method besides polycarbonate press fitting
hard to keep juice out of the center hole when filling from a bottle: new revs already have a metal nipple/spike that solves this
low TH and muted flavor: this is the main area that need to be addressed. the main reason i don't use them any more is the poor flavor. issac is definitely the master of how to fix this one...
wicking: they stop wicking well when about half way down due to the short top wicks. somewhat solved by keeping them upside down, but there is surely something that can be done to help. unknown if a much longer wick would do it, but unlikely since it would make it a CE2 in terms of coil/wick design which also has wicking issues.

I haven't experienced any micro cracks yet

maybe I'm a dummy, but I don't pick up any muted TH or flavor. how would one fix that, curious?

I have the long wicks. I've noticed that length of wick doesn't seem to make much of a difference with all the clearos I have (IKV vision, Fluxomizers, and Iturbos aka 808 stardusts). The only thing that seems to make the wicking flawless is 1) keeping the carto horizontal as much as possible or quickly giving it a vertical tip 2) adding a second wick right on top of the original wick/coil unit

all in all its less hassle for me than dealing with cartos. due to my vaping style I'm constantly having to top off. with these and analogous models a quick vertical tip or vaping horizontal is much easier for me than constantly topping off

I have had the juice in the air tube issue though. And once it starts, it won't stop until I run a tissue through the tube and wipe out the area on level with and above the coils. Haven't figured out what exactly causes this, but its not a huge bother. Don't have the issue with filling though. It seems to come on all of a sudden randomly.

These are good clearos, (better than any others I've tried), but they do have their own issues. I agree about the cracks starting at the bottom. I have never dropped or mistreated mine, but it is already cracking at the base. Also, flavor and TH were good for about 48 hours than it started to taper off. Occasionally I can still get a good hit, but they are getting rarer and rarer. I cannot wait for IKV to rework these, because they are a great starting point already.

My first micro crack seems to be appearing!

At the bottom, on the side, if I let the carto sit for a few hours full of juice, I'll find a tiny drop sitting there waiting for me lol

not a big deal, especially since I've been hammering it for two weeks now. I'm thinking a sliver of tegaderm will fix this.

I got one of the first ones with a short wick and was having the wicking issues so I just quit using it. It layed here for a week or 2 with juice in it but today I was trying out 510 cartos and I picked it up to try and it's been performing wonderfully. I mean every puff. Doesn't seem to be having any wicking issues. I'm very impressed and happy because the flavor is great. No cracks at all but I don't use those sweet and fruity flavors. The only sweet one is the RY4 Gold PG.

I use 100% PG so it's pretty thin but I think it wicks when I tip it up to puff on it. It did finally go back to the wicking thing after I refilled it. I got it laying again and I'm back with my Fusions. They never let me down.
If you fill 'em up to much you will also have wicking/vapor issues. Leave a 1/8 gap below the cup when refilling and they rock. Ya need air to move fluid :) Think of a pump with a suction on a sealed tank. It won't pump unless the tank is vented...

Thank you so much Cyrus!! I'm so glad your liking them! If you ever do get any dry hits, just pull off the mouth piece and put it back on, it may take a few times but it will create a vaccum effect drawing the liquid to where it needs to be. ;)

So we made improvements on the Ego clearomizers, we have them in with our coils rating at 1.7Ω and extended the stem to the mouth piece to prevent any kind of top leaking. The next series will have the wicks that will be much lowered to the bottom of the barrel for maximum wicking.

That's what I was thinking because I did overfill it.

I wouldn't go so fast on the long wicks my good man. Scuttle .... is that the short wicks were shortened for a reason, they wick better when compared to the performance of the longer ones. having not been a fan of anything CE2 I am surprised I have 3 of these in rotation (2LR 1 HV) Please be careful before going radical as we both know juice is the #1 factor for improper wicking :) not the device in most cases.
