Rock on VT! It's not only the coils we touched of course
Here's the finished designs, which are in transit.

now if he can get them to make a head higher than 2.8 they could be better than a Fusion, been playing with a lot of the "new" CE whatever's and still go back to my Fusions, junk box isn't getting much bigger but neither has the go-to bag.

I noticed that there is a slim size as well... Will there be metal tubes for those as well?
That's a bottom coil version and i don't think it's made to be field repairable like the top coils.
Oh ya, the bottom coil may end up a better vape than the fusion, IF plumbing issues can be resolved and higher ohms come arround, just my HO, but like I said nothing has gone into my kit but Fusions so far.

I know exactly what you mean. I got a few of the new whip-zam things and although some of them are great I'm still puffing on a Fusion. They are hard to beat. You put on in a tank, fill it and vape. That's all there is to it. Not a lot of drama to go through. Once they're filled there's nothing more to do except maybe change them every couple weeks to a month. This one I'm currently using is going onto week 5.

Speaking of the Fusion carto's. Someone recommend that I get into the 801 line. I use standard boge 510 cartos in a Arry tank and the carto is useless after each tank. I see the Fusion carto on the Ikenvape site in the 801 section but no tank for it. Where can I get one? I would need an adapter to use on a 510 device but that's not a big deal if I can get more dependable carto's to go with it.

They are an 801 base fused to a 510 tube with Ikenvapes loving touch on the inside to make them great. I use an M1A1 for them and I use the M1A1 1.5 for the mega fusions. notcig sells the M1A1. I'm sure there's many other tanks that will work. I just like the way the M1A1 works. Here's a pic of the Mega Fusion in the M1A1. As you can see the 801 Base sits just below the bottom cap and the nice thing is it won't slide down.

And here is the regular size Fusion in the shorter M1A1.

I am vaping on the VIVI Nova as I type this and I have to say its a pretty cool deal. I am using the 2.4 and it has yet to dry out with all them wicks. I cranked the voltage up to 4.5 and the taste of the juice changed and I didnt like it so im at 3.8 now and the vapor production is getting better and better as I go. The tank wont crack, and its not leaking. If anyone knows the Vision Stone 3 it leaked and cracked in no time. Wrong juice and it shattered instantly. I made a new tank myself for the VS3 just cause it vaped like a train. The VN is trying to match it but so far its a 3rd to the carto 2nd VS3 1st as far as vapor production.

I have high hopes it will just keep getting better. I should add that pre break in the voltage does not matter in relation to vapor production so this tank will work like a champ at any voltage in any device. The only diff will be warm vape vs cold vape. It is also a little too open as far as draw goes so I may put something in one of the holes just to tighten the draw some. All in all I give it a strong 8.5 out of a 10. Only time will tell if that 8.5 goes up or down as I have only vaped about 1ml so far.

Can you link me to that set up. Looks awesome. The Iken site is confusing and I dont see it, and if so, where are they on the site. Is it in the affiliates section listed by another vendor?

Where are you getting that the slim is a bottom coil design?

Striker is any juice getting past the coil cover into the airtube and giving any gurgle and or leaks out the 510 connector ?
Thanks in advance.

No flooding or gurgle. A small amount on the battery connection from sitting upright overnight. The 2.4ohm top maxed out at 5.5 volts and actually impressed me at 5v. This is only the middle ohm rate top so thumbs are still up. Here is the visual. Vision VIVI Nova Review. - YouTube

And they [and MadVaps] are the only other venders I send my $ to because those two haven’t tried to put up 801 Fusions rip offs that IkeVape did the original work on. Get what you need but keep in mind that IkeVape is the one who gives the most reliable products, he’ll get his web site together someday, make him your “go to” man when he does like we do out of respect.
And to note to others who may be reading this: IF YOU EVER SELL 801 FUSIONS I will never give you a $ after you do, it's like respect we give raidy and scubabatdan

Thanks Striker i watched the video .
The vision stone 3 i was able to tottaly stop any leakage where the bottom cap meets the tank by taking off that wite silicone gasket and putting on a spare arry o- ring i had and no more leakage but problem i had was gurgles and the airtube getting the juice in it coming out the connector. I suspect either the wire which have some sort of glue on them if one looks carfull right were the 2 wires goes into the bottom of the coil assembly came loose or the coils silicone cover over time gets distorted and lets juice leak in when held in a horizontal position.

Hopefully the nova works minu those problem but time will tell .
Thanks.

Ty will def take a look :toast:

you have vaped 1ml of it and already promising that they wont crack? not cracking as easily as the VS is probably a safer claim...as of now.
Im sure of one thing. It will not break as easy as the tank on the VS3. Common sense would tell you that only time will tell, and im sure I stated that fact in the review. I am reviewing as I go. U want me to stop? Good, cause I wont  6ml and going strong. No change in the tanks integrity to speak of "so far". The sweet spot @ 2.4 ohm with a 18490 battery is at 3.8V at the moment.

Sounds like you found who you like and I respect that. I like MV but I question the "after the sale customer service" so I stopped buying from them. The neg reviews section has a lot of unhappy people posting away. Russian Roulette is not fun when u lose.

YW. A couple more updates. The VIVI Nova did not ever need to be messed with once it was filled. The juice that would end up working its way up the drip tip area on the VS3 is non existent on the Nova. So far on the Nova with the 2.4 ohm top I have yet to get a warm vape. Its strange. Its like voltage does not matter. Thats probably a product of the massively open draw.

One thing I never thought about till the tank was refilled  was that the 2.4 ohm coil may need to be tightened some to stop the seeping at the battery connection. Will also update on that. I have less then a ML to go and I will take it apart and check on that.

A third neg I have (total) is that the center (+) pin protrudes too far to give a stable connection. Basically I dropped it from about a foot off the ground and it ended up being cocked to the side a great deal. Busted some of the thread on the tank connection. Cleaned the threads up and its okay but it needs a more stable connection. I was horrified and was thinking it was all over when I seen how far cocked it was. Got lucky. So keep a very watchful eye on your pv. Its like a carton of eggs.

I have the same problem with the center pin on mine which causes the vivi to be some what unstable on some of my devices. Acually solved the problem by using a 510 mini extender. 1.8 ohm on an epower has been my fave so far. 2.4 ohm vapes well on a kgo bat and the 2.8 works well on my evo at 4 and 4.5 volts. Easy to change the heads and clean also.

That's the reason I went to the 808/901 threaded PV's. The 510 has more problems using different atty/cartos than any other thread. When I have to use 510 I use an adapter so I can adjust the center pin position.
