I was walking to the post office on my lunch break, vaping away on my black wrinkle LP/SL Grand, just minding my own. I passed a guy on the sidewalk vaping an iStick topped with some type of clearo. He noticed the REO and stopped me to ask about it. After giving him a brief demonstration he excitedly blurted out "I'll give you $100 for that, right now!".

I didn't have the heart to tell him I had more than that in just the Derringer, praxis black delrin cap, and Brad's Cap drip tip. I politely declined his offer and referred him to reosmods.com and ECF. Hopefully he'll expand his budget horizons and join the Reonaut brigade.

Haha, I always had people just talk for 30 minutes about a Reo when I was using it in public such as in my car in the parking lot at the college before class. Sad thing, at some points in my life I'd take it and sell it for $100. Now not so much, but in the past I would've.

I remember a while back me and the wife were on vacation in Tennessee and I walked into a vape shop just to see how much they were over charging people (A LOT by the way). The neckbeard behind the counter asked "what cha vapin' on?" I said "a Reo Grand". He chuckled and said "I had to fix one of those damn things the other day..."

I just laughed at him and turned around walked out the door...

I had a similar incident. Happened in a vape/head shop. Stopped in because it was on the way home. Having never been there, I did not know what to expect or even have an idea of vape shop etiquette. While browsing the glass cases full of all manner of devices and atomizers, the helper came over to see what I wanted/needed. There were a couple of customers at the sampling bar complaining that the provided devices were not up to the standards they were use to.

Since they and the salesman were vaping, I pulled out my first and only at that time Reo Grand with a RM3. Took a couple of hits and this caused a stir among all present. Questions followed. No one believed the amount of vapor or flavor my little atomizer was producing with a 0.6 ohm coil. I even let all take a couple hits using the condom thingies provided by the shop. Then the offers started. Hundred bucks became increments of twenty or thirty bucks. At two hundred, these folks realized there was not going to be a sale. I did explain about Rob's website. Not sure if anyone followed up on Reo devices.

I have been back to this shop mostly for juice or a drip tip and I am known as the Reo man. I even brought Rob's card but I think the owner of the shop did not want the word of Reos or even ECF to get out to his customers.

As far as I can tell, this shop has a markup of almost double of the online prices. Not sure he could sell three hundred bucks plus Reos but you never know. I gave him Rob's business card.

I was googling for a shop that could drill an airhole for me. This one shop had a homepage photo with a drill press behind the counter, so off I went, LOL.
Place on first impression looked a bit like a "cloudchasing gang hangout"

• Dude behind the counter saw the atty and said, "holy CRAP that is TINY!"
• I said, "check out the duals I fit in there"
• He said "what do you run this on?"
• I said, "it's bottom-fed, for a REO"
• "Oh! - You've got a Squonker?"
• "Yep!" (LOL - wasn't expecting that)
• - whipped out my squonker - and you don't hear THAT every day
• "Dudes - come check out this REO"
• - Dudes came and checked out the REO
• "Those are cool. The guy that owns the shop has a few - the wood kind"

Also - to whichever ReoNaut owns a vapeshop here in Sacramento area, the guy behind the counter did an EXCELLENT, PROFESSIONAL job drilling my atomizer. Washed it. Didn't charge me.
So I bought some stuff, and sent a couple people there...
