Illuminatus Mod

I have been looking for more information on this new mod and noticed no one had started a thread on here about it. I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for some details on this so if you have one or have tried one please post your thoughts on it. Also if anyone knows the voltage drop that would be very useful information to have.

I was hopeful for this mod, but the brass pins (which to me are outdated) were a kill,, so were the contacts (too narrow). Design and engravings look good though.

Brass pins? On a nice mod like this? And for that price, no thank you. Im with you on that one, I didnt know they were brass.

Yeah I was rather disappointed. Although I did just buy a Slug mod, then again its different... I've used one, hits pretty decent too. But for a tube mod, bleh I'll pass.

For me personally I feel like they went for looks rather then performance, and imo they nailed that. But for 220 I would of at least expected copper or silver or both? But hey just cause thats what I think doesnt mean they still wont sell a ton of these!

My thoughts exactly. For looks and functionality of button (as well as an innovative design) they nailed it. But for being a tube mod with brass pins I would have expected more. If they would release silver or copper pins I'd be all over it, or at least plate the brass pins silver or something. Aesthetically the mod is on point, performance wise, when you get to the technical aspects, it is lacking.

I have one, and, purely anecdotally, I dont have numbers to say one way or the other, but the mod hits just fine.

Ive got mods that have pure copper contacts, and even when freshly clean, suffer from noticeable voltage drop. This mod here, hits as hard as anything else I have, I notice no difference.


Brass is not a bad conductor. Furthermore, and this is just my opinion, the contact material used is not the deciding factor in how hard a mod hits.

I understand Jman, but as I said, from a technical aspect this mod was lacking, but its design is brilliant. I might snag one up if I manage to sell off some of my HE Mods.

Tread sidetrack: Anyone know what happened to the "Illuminati" Mod that was supposed to come out? Not the Illuminatus, there was another mod which the buttons etc. were the incomplete pyramid and the masonry logo...

Here are screen caps from the sellers/distributors IG....
Its weird that these people were making/going to sell this mod and then they just fell off the face of the earth (not a conspiracy theory, just mad that I dont own it)
