I'm not a gun fan... I actually get really nervous and very uncomfortable when one is in the room with me. I try not to be that way, but I think it is a phobia I can't control. The hubby tried to break me of it, had me shoot them all and stuff... but it didn't work.
That being said, I still let him have them (lots of them everything in his safe from antiques to assualt weapons), I just leave the room when he is cleaning them and messing with them and do not go out in the yard with him when he is shooting!
Aww man, I feel your pain. i was just lucky enough to own some heirloom rifles when i first met her. So she never had a chance against them
. I gotta admit, in highschool i developed an unhealthy sword addiction. Had to sell every one of them for rent though.
lol, can you believe it's actually post policy that we are not allowed to remove our outer shirts? let alone our under shirts. They just make the dumbest damn rules out of sheer boredom I think.

What kind of policy is that... It's the dessert!!! Haven't the policy makers ever seen a war movie... there is always a scene where the guys are without shirts playing football or something. Maybe the no shirt policy has something to do with don't ask don't tell being revoked...
We have a saying in the 1st cavalry division that stems from dumb@ss rules like that. we see someone trip on a rock in plain view. that was cav. we have the same leftover slop in the chow hall. it's a cavtastic day. Basically anything stupid and or aggravating is 100% cav. Everytime we go to war garrison breaks out because of rules designed by folks sitting in an air conditioned office getting paid alot more than the guys sweating in these long sleeves...end rant

I can't show the hubby any of your gun pics, he would be jealous... you get to play with the toys that are not legal for him to own. I'm surprised he never signed up to play with them himself.
He is in bear country elk hunting for the week and watching him pick which guns/rifles he was going to bring was like watching me decide which shoes to bring to vegas. In the end he decided to leave his .45 and go borrow my fathers .44, guess it is better for bear (I hope I got the numbers right) I think he was also trying to come up with an excuse to bring his AR15 which was needed. Kind of like bringing the brown purse when you aren't bringing any clothes to match!

Why would you be jealous of him right now? You get to play with the good stuff! He is into all that stuff, spends hours watching the military channel and the history channel to see all the new toys! His favorite shpw is Top Shot! I've been trying to get him to try out for it as he can robin hood an arrow at will and is as good with any gun!
Besides, it seems it is a little hot for the elk and they haven't seen one or had one even answer a call in 3 days!

I suppose, but he still he gets to hunt. We're at the peace keeping stage now so, no shooting unless shot at.
