Salem your opinions will never be unwelcome!! I see both sides of this conversation and there are great points in both.

Yep! If everyone shared MY opinions the world would either be very boring ... or maybe very interesting ... I'm not sure which.

Others may have an opinion on THAT.

Maybe I worded what I was saying wrong. Salem is 100% correct. A young boy is capable of doing horrible things with BB Gun, Bow Rock etc. I was just trying to point out that boy doesn't need a BB gun to be cruel and when this does occur it is not the BB's guns fault it is the parents!

Popping in and out again AG. And hi Sarge.
but got a say @ modRod the Gamo, Stoeger, Ruger etc. 1200 FPS + pellet rifles will drive tacks at 35, 40 yards. At 25 feet they will go through 1 sheet of 1/2 plywood and imbed in the next sheet. Pretty impressive "tools" for varmints eating the tomatoes and other veggies in the garden you or I planted and would rather harvest and eat. :)
As far as human vermin, they really don't want to threaten my family or myself with my "handy" arsenal. I would hate to hurt more than their feelings, but would if it came to that. ;)

glad your doing good AG and Sarge, just to cap off the gun issue I caught on the end of, WV is one of the easiest states to get a concealed permit. I never owned a bb gun, I started with a 22. long rifle and revolver. I was brought up with real guns and respect for them, I was taught to hunt, and that we ate what we killed. It was sport to hunt and track, but not to kill for the sake of killing. I did repo for 2 years and saw a friend get his legs blown off by a shotgun. I carried my beretta 45. with me when I worked because it was like a hard hat, it kept me safe. I pulled it twice and never fired it (although technically thats illegal) I will give a person every opportunity to "reconsider" because I wouldnt want to ever have to take a life. Though I will defend mine if it is undoubtedly threatened and God help the person that threatens my family. I Bounced at a bars for a couple years and have stared down a couple barrels, thankfully they reconsidered. A gun is only as dangerous as the person who owns it, weather by misuse or neglect. Sorry to get all preachy but I wish everyone that owned a gun felt the same way I do.

I wish everyone could have been brought up the way we were too Atari.:thumb:

I no longer can say many of the points you posted, but I certainly agree and respect it.

I strongly believe in respect - respect for all we share with humans and animals in our world - who also must show respect.

If you have no respect, you are not on my side.:vapor:

I think that is the difference between a criminal that carries a weapon and a moral person... respect!

Today was a big day! We took our son to buy his first hunting camos. He can't shoot anything for a few more years, but he is going to join my husband hunting this season and track and call with him, just not shoot! The tiny camo pants and jacket were cute and he is really excited to put them to work this coming weekend! Hopefully it will continue to cool off and they will see some elk!

Well that is it for me... just wanted to drop in and say hello to AG and Sarge!
