One of the best things about living close to Charlotte is that madvapes is 20 min from my house.I just got Hal(Reo Grand) last friday and wanted to try out a 306 atty.I'm trying to learn to squonk properly so I can move up to either a I06 or HH357 atty in the future. For the life of me I can't get this down right.Either I flood the atty or I get those wondeful back in the throat feeling like razor blades dry hits. Can someone give me some pointers please.I'm liking the 306 when I get good clean hits but those are few are far inbetween.

Thanks

A clear 306 drip tip will help. I prefer the Cannon.

On some 306 attys, I need to squonk juice to the top of the bridge to get a good vape. On others, a little less. I draw on the drip tip while squonking to pull the juice up into the atty. I've also noticed you have to inhale gently with 306 attys. Long, slow, and gentle.

Good luck!

(I'm originally from coastal NC. Sup homie!)

put it on your grand, give a squonk as you hit without firing the button...this will prime it for you. it need not be a hard squonk. what kind of tip are you using? i fiddled a little bit with a black cannon tip and got it down pretty well. since, ive picked up a new clear cannon and i can see the juice got up into the atty as i squonk it.

Some squonking tips:

If you are using a 510, squeeze lightly until you just begin to see a glimmer of juice in the holes of the overflow well. When you release, it will disappear. Take a short unpowered hit, and you are good for 5-7 nice vapes.

For a 306, the "blind squonking" method works best. Squeeze the bottle lightly while you suck on the drip tip until you feel a small amount of resistance or hear a light gurgle. Take a short unpowered hit. If you have a clear drip tip, you should just see a sheen of liquid on the top of the atty. (If it is half-way up the bridge/mesh or more, it's flooded...blow it out). Also now good for 5-7 nice vapes.

Like a pig? Well, compared to what? Generally I've found that yes, with 306s there is a trade off in that they do tend to drain juice a bit faster (especially if you are using LR) but not unmanageably so. I'll also second mlinky and say that blind squonking seems to be the best method, and if you get one of the cannon tips that mudflap suggested, the chance of you sucking up and overflow seems to drop slightly. I'd also say that if you go for the HH357, its worth the extra effort to get the long barrel versions.

Well, you might find that a 306 is better then an i06 or a HH .357. It really depends on your preference. The i06 has a tighter draw and doesn't perform (due to QC issues) as well as Cisco 306 IMO. So, I'm really not a fan of those atomizers. Anyways, if you want the best experience from a 306 then I highly suggest you get one of these:

For tobaccos:

LR306 Low Resistance Atomizer 1.5 ohm (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper

For dessert/fruit flavors:

LR306 Low Resistance Atomizer 1.8 ohm (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper

I would de-wick it and is a must for many 306 users. Look under the bridge and use a paper clip to push the wick out of there. Then use a pair of tweezers to pull everything completely out. I would also suggest thing drip tip:

XL306 Contoured Twisted Acrylic 306 Drip Tip - Avid Vaper

the cisco 306 are great i love em , but the i06 is a different atty , the atty is wider than a normal 306 the bridge is pretty big too in comparison , with the i06 be sure to buy an i06 drip tip because a 306 driptip will not fit .
i do like the i06 when i get a good hit but im finding it hard to get the proper squonk going with it i flood it lots
