Sometimes my vapes accentuate my beer flavors. Sometimes the beer completely alters the flavors of my favorite juices. For example, once I've had several beers, I can't taste my butterscotch anymore. And I can never tell if it's the carto or just me. I primed my current butterscotch carto on Thanksgiving night (I use DCT tanks with single coil 1-hole punched 2.0 ohm standard resistance cartos), and it IS my most used carto.

Is it just the beer tonight or is it time to replace my carto? I was told once it tastes even slightly off, or burnt, or like dirty socks (super yuck), it's time to change the carto.

Any other beer drinkers thought it was time to change the carto, when in fact the carto was fine and it was your palate being messed up by the beer?

When I drink my taste buds go bye-bye. They say 'you found something more powerful and we can't handle the competition'. I just keep vaping anyway ;) I know cigs would still have taste because their flavor are powerfully nasty, but I'm not going to go there!

Funny how that works, nasty tasting things win out on blah taste buds......

A lot of my semi-vaping friends went the way of the Do Do because they were also heavy drinkers. They just didn't get the same experience vaping while drinking. Me, heh, I am fortunate enough to be the very few who can drink and vape and be just fine.

THAT BEING SAID! I don't condone underage drinking, and I do not wish to glorify drinking!

It is an adult activity. Just like vaping.

But I did see something funny, a pic with the Dos Equis "most interesting man in the world" guy:

"I don't often drink beer. But when I do.......... I drink a lot of it!" ;-)

EDIT: Heh, forgot to mention, whenever I drink beer and vape caramel, it turns into celery. Heh.

Could be partially due to dehydration, and the occasional glass/sip of water may help considerably. Dry mouth seems to really kill flavor.

I can't really say if I notice a dumbing down of flavor while drinking, but I do notice that I use higher voltages while drinking. Have to pay some attention the next time around.

Now a beer sounds real good. Don't think it'd go well with a coffee liquid though.

I drink beer regularly and I have not noticed a lack of flavor from my vape after drinking a few. I still taste the same flavor. Crazy how different we all are. I thought I would be able to use up the few juices I have that I just don't like while drinking but have found that no matter how many beers I have, I can still taste the juice.
