Hey guys,

Just brought a nimbus clone the other day and after inspecting it, I realised that it had no coil (no problem, I'll just learn to recoil)

but I also realised that it infact completely lacked any holes.

it appears to have 2 small holes on the outside, however these indentation don't actually follow through far enough to constitute actual holes.

How would I go about getting some holes into this tank?

I also have the starter mini RBA/rda that came with the K100 I have, the hole is a bit rubbish and I think I would have improved vapour if I drilled that also.

I've got a drill and some drill bits, but I am in no way proficient with powertools, nor do I have any knowledge of them.

any advice would be much appreciated.

In Brunei, eh? Very cool

Anyway, there is not a lot to drilling a hole, but I'd advise you to take it somewhere that has a drill press. It will be much easier and far less likely for the bit to slip and scratch the Nimbus. They can't charge too much for a couple simple holes. I'd suggest 1.5mm, but smaller or bigger is a matter of preference and how much air you need to feed the coil(s) at what power you're trying to drive them.

If you're attempting to do it yourself, just have a good sharp drill bit and let the bit do the work -- don't push hard. Take your time and it will go just fine. Good luck!

I am an advocate for diamond needle files, personally.

They're cheap, and they don't take up much space.

It doesn't take that long to do either (though it will obviously take longer than using a drill). It's more precise than using a drill, unless you have millions of drill bits.

This might well not work with the Nimbus if the holes don't go the whole way through. I'd put the Nimbus in a vice, then use a very small drill bit to make a pilot hole first, then file it out to the desired size.
