I just won 100$ worth of juice from Banzaivapor. Woohoo! I had to tell someone cause I'm generally a loser! lol. Anyway, I'm passing the majority of that on to my SIL and Brother because they are successfully making the transition to vaping, going on 2 weeks smoke free, except bro had 1 when he was out and ran out of juice. That is phenomenal, though, cause they've been hard core smokers a long, long time. They live in a different state than me, and I would like to have some gear ready for them when they visit soonish.

Anyway, I don't know about high capacity juice/battery devices that are the best. I work from home so I don't have a need to make my stuff last all day. When my bro goes back to work (boilermaker) he will need something awesome to last the day in battery and juice. Tell me how you would do it. The mod will probably spend a lot of time in the cooler at the nonsmoking facilities but it needs to be charged and full of juice for 12+ hours and especially ready for the ride home. I really don't know how much he gets to vape on the job or if he will want to pocket it. He currently has an alien baby that only does 50 watts and maybe 2-3 mL, not sure. I can give him my AL85 but I don't think that helps much since the tank capacity will still be small. I suggested the penguin but not sure the 50 watts is good enough. He really wants to crank it up a little more than that. I can't see that anything I have would be trusted to last all day so I'm looking for something I don't know about.

Is the Vaporesso Revenger out yet, anyone have one and how ya feel about that. Probably will just blow through the 5 mL real quick?

Thanks!

Need to look at 3-4 battery mods. Regardless of which tank you choose, he will have to take juice with him. Why does gear have to stay in cooler? If he wants pocket mod he will need to carry spare batts. If he wants bigger tank/coils he will go thru a more juice. I don't have Revenger but those here that seem pleased with mod.

My sons wismec reuleaux rx 200 lasts him near two days on battery life. He uses it with the wismec reaux 6ml tank, but on higher watts so he blows through the juice.

What you may want is a tank that is for lower wattage, and just dial down the wattage on the mod. If you get a top fill tank they are nothing to fill, and it's nothing to keep a small bottle of juice in his pocket.

So, I recommend getting him a unicorn bottle or two, and a three battery device like the wismec. The gen3 is out now, and it's a bit smaller than the rx models.

I think he sometimes leaves his stuff in the cooler because they have to crawl in tight spaces and things like that where you don't want things falling out.

I have a releaux and don't get great battery life, not what I would expect from a 3 battery device but it might be my build. On both my predator and releaux, it feels like you can see the batteries dwindle with every vape and that's below 60 watts with usually 0.4 ohm. I'm wondering if other brands use their battery capacity better.

They're rated at 2500 mah for both batteries. Does the 20 amp versus 25 amp play a role in how long the battery lasts as well?

The differences might be in how they are used. All I know is that we are getting a MUCH better battery life out of the Sony's than we are the Samsung 25 r's.. can't explain why as I'm not sure my battery knowledge is where it should be to explain why.. all I know is from experience, the Sony's give a better battery life. (Running around 60 watts on the wismec)

And in specific, I bought the Sony's at the link I linked you to above from Liion Wholesale..

Voltage sag would be my guess. My trusty vtc4 will give me better battery life at anything above 80 watts or so simply because they sag less at load. That's one of the reasons Evolv chose lipo over 18650 with the dna 200.

I don't know anything about what causes voltage sag, but Im gonna try the different ones and see how it works. Hopefully my mods have puff counters I can reset so I can try to compare. I have married 25 R batteries in the predator and married 30 Q batts to check but I have to order the Sony's to try higher amp.

In a situation like this maybe your brother wants a smaller device for work, and a more cloudy device for home/driving? That way, he's not in danger of running out, but can still enjoy sub-ohm for when he needs it. I might suggest the Aspire Zelos starter kit (it's tiny and light) and whatever he likes for a larger mod. I don't know though, if I'd want to put a mod in a cooler (is there ice in it?) but there are many times of the year where leaving one in the car (even the trunk) might not be feasible. But, if he has the space in the cooler and the mod(s) won't get frozen, it might be worth trying out?

Well, it sounds like a "Backups" situation if there ever was one. That's so great you are helping your brother quit smoking.... Mine was my favorite smoking buddy, we could really ash up the yard, LOL. I'd love to be able to convert him, maybe I'll suggest a care package tomorrow.... I think he'd really enjoy it and since we're now skyping weekly for guitar lessons, I might throw out a mention tomorrow.... Thanks for the inspiration :)
