Can E-Cigarettes Cause Nicotine Poisoning? | E-Cigarette Reviews for Ex-Smokers in Need of Guidance

Something quick I pulled off to illustrate more than my own words, your body will make you stop vaping/smoking when you reach a high amount of nicotine in your bloodstream.

Other than that...outside of being injured, how is vaping 24mg at the rate fore mentioned not as good for you as 6mg?

Well I'm basing it on my own experience. I started with 24. Then I thought maybe 36 would be best (that was the next jump in level @ the place I got my juice from). The 36 was fine for a while but in those times I felt like I needed to chain vape I DID get too much nicotine. lol there was certainly nothing in my body that stopped me from doing it BEFORE I started feeling straight up nauseous & crappy. So, since I am not the kind of "chain vaper" she is & it affected me that way I'm certain that with her vaping habit it would not be a good move for her unless she chose to vape less.

I typically go through 12ml's a day of 6mg juice. When I 1st quit smoking I went through this much a day of 18mg, so I cut down to 12, then down to 6. The concentration of Nic does not make a difference to me, although at higher nic I was getting a little hyper and having trouble falling asleep. I love the flavors. I uses a 2.2 ohm tank at 4.0 - 4.2 volts depending on the juice. At first I bought straight juice, then I started buying MBV with all the extra shots and diluting it with plain nic juice, that made it a little cheaper. Now I am using DIY juice. The DIY was a little frustrating at 1st, determining how much flavor, how much steeping, then I learned about AP and EM... DIY definitely has a learning curve, but I have perfected 6 flavors to my taste. I am a happy camper!!! Do what feels right to you, what makes you happy and Vape on!

OK I'm 150 plus days into this from 50 analogs a day, it wasn't long in the beginning before I was blasting through 15 ml / day and now I'm at a steady 20 ml / day of 6 mg with some 12 mg dripping. I've cut down from 12 mg to primarily 6 mg in the last month with no perceivable difference in enjoyment on use.

I'm not looking to cut back but was wondering if I was in the "norm" so to speak
I smoked analogs 30 years at 50/day

how much to you use and how long did you do analogs

any links to good cheap juice always welcome

What device are you using? Different setups vaporize eliquids at different rates. For instance, if you're using dual-coil cartomizers, especially at high wattages, you're using twice the amount of ejuice that single-coil cartos use. A lot of that vapor is wasted, IMO, but others may disagree with me. That's the main reason I don't care for dual coils--they mow through the battereis and the juice like there's no tomorrow.

Also, all those advanced sub-ohm/super-high wattage APVs use a lot of ejuice.

Most vapers using single coils and reasonable wattage (6-9 watts) use somewhere around 3-6 ml a day.

Mount Baker Vapor has a good reputation for providing inexpensive and good eliquid.

I've also heard good things about Liqua--it's a Chinese ejuice with Italian flavoring. Fasttech sells Liqua for very reasonable prices, but it also can be bought locally.

Holy Cow!!! Well.......if you aren't making yourself ill, and can afford it, I can't see a problem with your ml level. I could not see going through that much eLiquid myself, for a variety of reasons, one of them being that I tend to restrict myself (mostly) to "smoking areas"....ie, outside plus now I vape in my room downstairs. I could not possibly find the time to vape more than 4-5mls. But, it really rather sounds like you maintained your prior habits, but with healthier vaping.
