Don't give up smoking is not the way to go! I don't have that tank but I've had similar problems with the tank that I use. To me it sounds like you are getting fluid in the air shaft. When you take the tank off do you see liquid in your battery? If so, clean out the battery connection with a tissue and put the tank back on. Hopefully that will help. Another thing when does the tank gurgle? Does it gurgle when you are low of fluid? If so maybe you just need to top it off and don't let it get down low. If that's not the problem you may just have a bad tank. I say again, please don't give up you just need to find the right equipment for you, everyone is different.

Before I really got into rebuildables and filled my drawers with silica, mesh and wire, I learned to keep a few boxes of standard cartomizers (or just a few standard 510 atomizers) off to the side. I had been using an eGo-C, and it was hit or miss with the atomizers... when it worked, it worked amazingly good, but when I had a day where I just "couldn't get it right", I put it to the side and filled a cartomizer, or dripped. Was the vape as good? No way, but it satisfied me and eased my frustration.

Now I have my gennies and Kayfun, but I still have days where I just "can't it right", whether the wicking is off on my Kayfun, or I can't get rid of hotspots on a genesis, and man does it frustrate me! But that's why I always keep a dripper to the side. It's foolproof and always works, and it eases my frustration. :)

Backups are always important, especially when you're just switching to vaping!

I second this. I almost gave up too because of tank issues. Well, I actually did go back for a month while I waited for the protanks to come out. It was gross. Get yourself a cheap little dripper like an Igo-L or a mini dripper for $8-10. Get some 32ga kanthal from ebay and read up on making coils. It's really really easy to wrap a coil and stick it through some post holes. Obviously there's a little more to it than that (the wick, battery safety/coil ohms, etc) but it's really simple.

How have you been holding up?

I kept getting a burnt/dry (it tasted like metal for me) flavor with my Protank 2 mini. I was about to give up too until a guy at my local B&M told me about (and I saw a GrimmGreen vid about) carto tanks. The ones I have now are just poly, but I have a couple of Smok Tech's Pyrex glass tanks on the way. I haven't had any issues since.

Buggainok I hope they work well for you too!

I got 4 of them! And they do work well. Now I can keep a couple loaded with different juices and not have to rinse out what I'm using and start over. I lost track of this thread, and wanted to thank you for your recommendation.:)

Not sure my post is helpful.
..... But I had gurgle & leaking issues with my KGO AND SMOKETECH VARIABLE batts, until I switched to top coil. So, it seems to me a bottom coil is more problematic. I have not had any issues with my Kanger T2 top coil cartos. And the replacement coils are cheap and easy to replace (unscrew old, screw in new), and have been using these for several months now. And, best of all for me is filling from the top after simply unscrewing mouthpiece.

I could write a book on the trial and error. Don't give up. If I can do it, trust me....anyone can. I went through several mods and more tanks/carto's than I want to admit. I bought a aerotank today and also have some smoktec carto's. Although I don't love the carto's, I've found that vaping those on a low voltage makes a huge difference. I have a Provari mod but went through a lot before I jumped into that. You'll find the right set up. Trial and error. Don't give up.

Juice in your mouth tells me flooding though i have no experience with the type of tank you have. On an interesting note the atomizer it shows oddly resembles a protank atty. Take the tank off turn it upside down so the mouthpiece is to the floor, and blow through it. That will clear it out. If problems keep occuring dont quit vaping! Just check the vendors on this site for a CE4, their easy, disposable, and can be had for 2 or 3 bucks. Save the testing of more expensive tanks till after you have income again.
