just like any other day, i took my dog to my backyard so he could ****. and i take out my titan out and start vaping w/ a charged batt, and i take a drag and thares almost no vapor, btw i just topped it off.
so im like wtf. i use my other batt and it is still ****ed. i blew out most of the e liquid of the atty and stood it on top of a paper towel.
24 hrs later i get the dry atty, i screw on the auto batt and ... it turns on, in an instant i knew/smelled my atty was burned, i take out my virgin atty and drip 2 drops on i w/ a topped cart and charged batt, take a hit and this atty gets fryed too.

casuslties:
flooded auto batt.
2 burned attys.
2ml of tw eliquid

im about to give up on this whole e cig thing.

Kent is right on point---the e-cig is not anywhere near as user friendly as just having a bic lighter handy. It is a product "in evolution". Yes, they all have quirks and it can be frustrating------but what is a little effort an patience compared to continuing to use a known killer? That is the real question you have to ask yourself before you throw in the towel. I truly hope you do not---but it is your choice.

Sounds like you flooded it.

Yeah, still flooded.

Now you're smoking a completely dry atomizer, with no drops of juice to prime it.

Just because you're tasting dry atomizer doesn't necessarily mean you fried it.
Maybe it will be just fine again if you prime it up with three drops and let it sit awhile.

I take out my virgin atty and drip 2 drops on i w/ a topped cart and charged batt, take a hit and this atty gets fryed too.
I can't explain that one, but what exactlly do you mean by fried?

Lesson learned - don't drip with the Titan autobatts. They will stick on, and if you don't unscrew the batts ultrafast, you can easily lose an atty.

Mods -- make this a sticky. ;)

As I'm sure many others have suggested to you around this forum, ditch the autobats. They are badbadbad and you will be 10x happier with a manual bat on your Titan. I too have a Joye 510, and it has worked beautifully since I got it (with manual bats).

Don't give up, just make sure you're using the right equipment, and using it in the right ways (always a drop or two on a new/freshly dried out atty).

OP- Can you please describe "fried" for us? Possibly your atty's are just PMS'ing and you're over-reacting? Typical male behavior.. we forgive you :p I love my 510 (manual) and the only problem I've had was faulty cords on my chargers driving me insane having to jimmy rig them to make them charge. If you could give us more detail on what made you consider the attys fried I'm sure I'm not the only one on here willing to see if we can help you fix them. If not there are plenty of suppliers out there with relitivly cheap parts, no need to get upset and go back to analogs.

Ah I guess your kit came with one of each? If I were you I would soon invest in either a 2nd manual bat, or a USB passthrough, or both for use while you are charging.

100% good advice. I'd have never stuck w/ this if I had to depend on my original auto-batteries. I moved to a 510 w/ four manual batts in rotation and that did most of the trick. Moved on to a Prodigy 801 and that did the final bit. Not even wanted an analog since that one arrived.

Good Luck - It really just takes persistence.

I was totally having this same problem.
I even got a backup charger, tried that, and had the same problems.

Then I discovered, purely by accident, that if I did not screw the battery in as tight it solved the problem for the most part. Now I just screw the battery in slowly until the red light goes on, and then I don't really tighten it any more than that.

If found that if I screwed it in as tight as I would normally tighten something, I couldn't get the red light to stay on unless I jiggled it around a little, and then it was still never certain it would stay on.

My wall charger the problem ended up being dust/dirt inside the connectors after i cleaned it I've never had a problem with it since. With my USB I think there's a break or something inside the line because if I don't twist the cable just right and brace it in the right possition it doesn't work... not like I care of course, it's easy for me to get it in the right spot and keep it there while it charges.

The wall charger freaked me out though, I had the issue about a week off analogs and was flipping out.. then Phil suggested I try and clean it and it's been perfect every since :D

i was screwing my bone dry atty onto my autobatt, and it turned on and the smoke (not vapor) smelled like burning metal.

Sometimes that happens if you have a bit of build up of gunk on the atty. Try rinsing it with hot water, drying it out, priming it with 2-3 drops and see if it'll work after that. The one time I thought I had an atty problem with my 510 I did that and it started working at tip top shape again. Have you ever had an auto PV go into the automatic cleaning cycle on you?? That's nasty, I had it happen once when I was puffing on it and didn't realize it until I got a mouth full of burnt gunk - almost threw up
