I love box mods but ordered my fist 2 mechs today. The first is a Black Magneto i ordered the good 18650 Sony batterys for it. I also ordered the Bagua Mech clone witch is 18350. So not knowing anything about batterys besides 18650s what is the best 18350 battery on the market? also what is the lowest ohm i should run on the battery you recommend? 1629801-7-thumb.jpg

AW IMR 18350 is 700 mah and has a max output of 6 amps. You can safely run them down to about .8 ohms.
I disagree, I've used this analogy before, but I think it's a good one.

Pushing a battery to it's absolute limit is like jumping up and down on a wooden bridge that says "Weight Limit 200" because you're only 190 lbs.

You should always use a factor of safety, I prefer a factor of safety of 3 (1/3 amp limit) but many insist a factor of safety of 2 (1/2 amp limit) is fine.

I like headroom as well, but I don't feel I have to stay under 50% CDR. I personally take my AW's down to 1 ohm. That equates to 4.2A or ~62% of their 6.8A rating on a fully charged battery. I have gone sub-ohm with them with no problems. However, pushing a battery to its limits will significantly shorten its life. If your "sweet spot" is sub-ohm, 18350's are not the way to go. Anyways, congrats on the new gear.

I am using Efest 18650 35amp in my mechanical.
My build is currently 2x12 wraps coils @ .90ohms
Not so much heat that it burns the tongue and chucks the vapor. I try to stay right around 1.ohm or a little lower. Although I have pushed them with duals @ .50 ohms. Imo that build is way to hot for my taste. But nothing unsafe about it.
