Hey guys,

This is my first post here. I appreciate all the help the veterans of vapes have rendered to new guys like me.

I got to know about vapes through a friend. Quite intrigued by the thick plumes of smoke coming from my back so I turned and saw him vaping. That was pretty much the point of no-return.

I'm residing in an Asian country, where vapes are illegal. But I don't want to smoke and harm my first child that's due April next year. So I wanna go vape instead.

I'm pretty new to vape stuffs. Just that supplies are hard to come by locally and they're even harder to bring in. Not asking for tips on how to run afoul of the law, by the way, just hope that people can chime in and share their experiences. Maybe those that have visited such countries. :)

I'm currently in the process of getting a starter vape ($30ish) through a friend. I'm thinking of upping my game soon! I can't seem to stand having skinny vapes, I prefer the likes of thicker mods like Chi You, Ba Gua and Nemesis.

So here's me. Aaron, Asian, student. Father to be, vaper in due time and nuts about knives.
Hope to hear more about you guys.
Cheers mate.

Welcome to the forum Sigmazxcs! :toast:

It is unfortunate, that you have to deal with a vaping ban.
I don't have much advice, since i am not in this situation.
Maybe look mainly into mechanical mods and rebuildable atomizers?
Easiest to keep up and running, without you constantly having
to procure stuff.
Maybe also look into DIY e-juice? The components... vg,
pg, aromas shouldnt be a problem to obtain. Nicotine? idk...

However... have you seen this? SG Vapers
The SG vapers social group.
I think this is the right place for answers and how-to.
I am sure they are more than willing to help. :vapor:

Hey gotch23!
Thanks for the welcome!

I think it's easier to get some juice than to make them! I'm bad with food chemistry and anything with favors.
I have some links from external suppliers that have successfully helped their clients in my country. I hope I can get things to work!

I have seen the SGvaper group. Definitely working my way up there! Gotta be verified first, so I'm starting off here by introducing myself and getting myself comfortable with you guys. :)

Thanks man!
Yes, our government can be pretty crappy. So much so that it entitles the use of explicit language had the forum regulations stated otherwise!

Those are pretty neat vapes (pardon me, everything seems nice when you can't get a single one). I'm thinking of getting a mod and a RBA though. What do you think? Given I don't have much experience/ no experience in vapes.
I believe in starting off on the right foot, so I don't wanna end up with a vape that gives me an awful experience that will put me off.

Hi Aaron and welcome to ECF. First of all a early congrats on your first child
Yeah it sux as to what the SG Govt is doing in regards to vaping. If I were in your situation I'd consider a Mech Mod- no electronics to fail. Along with some juice holders that are rebuildable. Batteries, chargers, digital Multi Tester, wick and coil could be legally purchased.
My first PV over 2 yrs ago was a Mech Mod and except for a $10 part that failed it looks and fires as good as the day I bought it.
Many Mech Mods can be full size with the larger battery or mini stealth size with a smaller batt.
Best of Luck.

As far as recommendations, do you know what types you have to choose from that you will have access to and what prices they will run for you to get them? May be easier for those of us not in that situation to help you with options and choices. I would hate to say that "X, Y and Z are awesome" and then you cant get any of them.

Hopefully all of the experienced members here can help you find the best out of your available options :2cool:

Welcome to ECF and congrats on the new babe!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Really nice of all you guys to chime in!
Can't wait for the baby to pop into my life and ruin my sleep and knife budget. :D

I'm pretty tight on budget now. Just bought plenty of paracord to make bracelet for my small business, moonglow for beads and knives and a $500+ flashlight. So I'm pretty dead broke now.

I'm looking to get some clones (yes, I know they are not top choices) since I heard some pretty good reviews on them. Currently I'm planning on getting a EHPro Nzonic clone 1:1 and a Z-Atty clone 1:1. The Z-Atty is a completely identical of the original Z-Atty U that bears the Zen logo. I believe both of them should fit pretty well and look good, since both are 7/8" dia.

Agree with Vapoor eyes. You should get something that is reliable as it would be seriously frustrating if it fails especially considering how hard to get replacement in ur country. Congrat on being father-to-be. Good luck
