It's been a while since I posted here. Gosh, maybe 3 months or so since my last post? Lots of new people, I see... which means more and more new people are now being converted to e-cig. Good for them! :)

To be honest, and with all due respect to the fine folks that I had chance to talk on this board, I had a fall-out from this board. After finding a e-cig that I could stick to (in my case, it's an SD), plenty of attys and juice in stock, I had lost interest in many parts of this forum. I wasn't much of a vocal advocate regarding smoking to begin with... and only place I'd visit for last few months was occasional check-up on the news part, and mostly, being discouraged by the slew of bad news.

But in a way, it wa a good thing. When I used to smoke, 3/4 pack a day for past decade+ or so... I wasn't really thinking about smoking. I just did it. Now, e-cig has completely subbed smoking - to the point that I don't even think much about my e-smoking now. It always felt a bit of hassle to charge and keep track of all the attys, juice etc... but for some reason, such eagerness is all gone from me.

Now, I just realized that my last bottle of RY4 from PS was running low. I have completely used up all my juice for the first time - and I just ordered another batch of juice from another vendor. I remembered that I had kept track of all the expenses with someone's e-cig expense sheet xls file... and just realized that I'm in the black now. So far, I spent around 800 dollars for all of my e-cig needs (juice, equipments, etc) - and according to the calculator, if I had smoked, the money that I'd have spent by now would be over 900 dollars!

I've been cigarette free since last April 9th.. (well, not 100% - I still bum off a real cig when I hang out with my friends once in a while. no more than 1 cig, though - as I just enjoy e-cigs more.) At one point, when I was trying out various e-cig models, I was rather certain that e-cig being cheaper than regular cig might be a myth, only possible in theory. Boy, was I wrong. :)

So.. little kudo to myself, and much thanks to all the people on this board who helped me out on my e-cig quest! Maybe next year or so, I might look into buying another e-cig for a change. :)

I was in the black after just three months. But a $10 a day analog habit makes that pretty easy. When I look back on it, I really wasted a bunch of money, too, trying to find the right setup and juices for myself. At 10 bucks a day, I hit $900 in just 3 months. That buys a LOT of e-cig supplies. Going forward, my expense shouldn't be more than about $35 a month. Seriously. About a bottle and a half of juice, an atty, and 2 14500 batts. Beats the heck out of $300 a month!

Getting in the black, without blackening my lungs.....priceless!
