Hi! :) I'm expecting an inexpensive tube mod in the mail I have yet to try, but I'm interested in finding something that is not much thicker than a cigarette. I want to be able to hold it like a cigarette which i won't be able to do with my tube mod. I realize that I will be making a sacrifice in battery life! It's ok if it's longer than a cigarette. I'd love to hear your opinions, and would really appreciate it if you have these pv's, that you can write how long the battery lasts before it needing recharging. Thank you so much!!!

As far as battery life goes the best you can get for that type of battery is 280mah. This may last you all day if you don't vape much. If your like me and vape a lot, you may only get a couple hours of use from it if your lucky. They do have pcc's that you can buy separate or w/ the kit that you can charge the battery anywhere.

You are definitely looking for something in a KR808d-1 model. They are tops as far as ciggy style pvs (imho). Stay away from the single battery kits. There is a subforum dedicated to kr8s here. Some reputable vendors of this forum are Smokeless Image, Bloog, many more......heres the subforum KR808D-1 try not to get too overwhelmed and alsways feel free to ask questions.

the short ones will last 2-3 hours max.....the next size up will last 3-4 at best brand new-no chain vaping. You will always need two when you are out, maybe 3 unless you buy a pcc kit

Thank you for the battery information! Also for mentioning the pcc's! I didn't think about that. I'll have to check them out! :)

The 801/302 platform is an interesting compromise.
Pen Size

Actually the battery is more like the 510/808 mini (maybe a little thicker). Most of the bulk is the oversized atty, which in my humble opinion is one of the finest stock atties ever (especially if you want to pack their native carts...the carts actually work decently with these and hold a lot).

For a true no-leak Mini kit I like a 510 stainless shorty CE2/fluxomizer with a stock .... plug (no drip or flexy tip) at the lowest resistance I can find (usually around 2.5ish Ohms) on an auto KR808-D1 battery (yes it takes a 808>510 adapter, but a 2.4 Ohm CE2 at 4ish volts is pretty sweet, and if you like quick hot puffs battery life is decent too).

The bigger XL CE2 and slightly thicker clear or Vision stuff vapes the same on these batteries...I just like the shorter, slightly smaller diameter stainless ones when a mini PV is in order.

Why this setup for my mini?
It feels warm, like a ciggy.
By dropping the drip tip, you're actually coming close to sticking the coils right in your mouth.
The draw is really loose...so you can take short hot hits...kind of like smoking a real ciggy.
Why auto instead of manual? To me the whole point of a mini is for golfing or fishing. A true mouth hanger for hands free vaping :)

I have a smokestik, i was charging the batteries every 2-3 hours.

Thank you for telling me that. It's quite a change from an all day vape mod battery but I'll still check them out. I'm new so I don't really know what I like or need the most yet! **I'm in In the learning curve!

Beautiful Baldwinsville (CNY)
Vapornine nebula starter kit, $8, cheap shipping.

It's an 808 auto standard battery, charger, 2 16 mg/ml prefilled cartos that are ready to refill.

Fine for a backup our when you just need/want cig form factor.

No wall wart usb power supply, use a pc port or, better, a spare phone usb power supply.

I really appreciate your valuable information!!! Thank you for the link to the subforum too!!! :)
I don't know if the short battery life would bother me, but we'll see. I'm undecided!
