I'm looking for a less expensive bottom feeder

Hi all,
Me again, the old fart...
Hey, my buddy, who has been off of tobacco for about 2 months, now, is wanting a wooden bottom feeder box mod. (I talked him into it. He he)
Trouble is, the REO, the Lincoln of all, is a bit too pricey for his pocketbook.

How about a plain old 'Ford' or 'chevy' model. LOL
No compacts or minis though...
He does prefer a wooden mod over plastic or metal, though.

What do you guys recommend?

If it's got to be wooden he's going pay a little more but I understand him wanting it, so much nicer than plastic.

I'd recommend checking out the Redskymods and Sweetvapes forums in the suppliers section. Both are nice wood feeders that won't break the bank.

Old Goat Mods....excellent mods and at one of the if not the most reasonably (cheap) priced.His mods are cheap in price only and you've got several choices. Check out his 2 threads and read all the replys from satisfied customers.Have a great Holiday!!!

Hog should have some for sale Monday or Tuesday. I think he has only sold about 5 or so of them, but everyone that has one loves it. I was thinking of gettting one till i found a VV monkeybox (at about twice the price of a Hog Mod)

If you want much cheaper, you aren't going to get one made of wood without sacrificing alot of quality.
Old Goat has a pretty popular, inexpensive ($50 or less if I recall) made of plastic.

What on earth is a "bottom feeder"?

To answer really simply, a bottom feeder is a large wooden, plastic, or metal made PV that holds a larger battery for all day vaping and a juice bottle that you squeeze to feed the atty from the bottom instead of filling up cartos or carts. (Cartomizers and Cartridges.)
Battery life is about a day or so long and the bottle is about the same.
Makes for the best vaping on the planet, BTW.

To really pin it down, it's an easier and more convenient way to 'direct drip'. Which, BTW, is the ultimate way to vape.

I never leave home without mine.

... from the bottom. Top feeders feed juice via the bottle, except the juice is feed to the top of the atty.

Mods taking an 18650 battery should last even longer. At least 2 days.

I got over 60 hours out of my 18650. I didn't have a battery charger, yet so, I vaped it till it quit.
Those are total hours with eating and sleeping in between, BTW.
Probably about 48 hrs or so of batt life, actually.

I had a 5v unit called the Tekk Mod that had two 18650's in parallel. I could get 4 days out of it before need a charge, and still vape it while it was charging. It was brilliant until I accidentally fried it.

I've sacrificed battery life for PV size now though. I use 14500's.
