Hello ^_^! New here, just thought I'd have a looksee for some of you that know a little more than I do and just standard opinions on my first setup!Okay so a few questions about prices, tanks and batteries!

I've always wanted a very simple setup. When I started doing my searching I realized I really wanted the dtc tanks because they'd be way better for me to afford rather than the plastic CE4 tanks I'd have to throw away sooner or later. I havent really seen any starter kits with the DCT look I wanted without it being 100+.

Alright so I wanted to know if there was a difference with the plastic wall/based DCT's opposed to the glass ones? Does the flavor vary in either of them?

So far this is my setup :). I was trying my best to keep it at or around 50 dollars so I could have a ''starter kit'' of my own that I would really like.I dont think it's that bad! Am I stretching the price? For granted I did want a high quality starter setup so around 50 dollars would sound good?. The only thing I'd have worries about is the battery life. Are there any other suggestions for batteries that go well with DCT?

Okay ... You can go straight to the "post your gurlish pink gear" thread when it all arrives lol.
Anyhow for your questions ...
Flavor wise, glass or plastic does not matter. Glass is more durable generally unless you're clumsy like me. Certain liquids tend to crack plastic tanks. Never happened to me, I broke a few glass ones though.

I understand you like the bits and pieces but I have to be practical a bit, I'd trade in some of it for an extra battery. It is very practical to have a backup battery. One charging while you vape, if one brakes (and these egos don't have eternal life) , etc. The joytech 1000mah battery is one of the better ones, so good choice there. I presume you have an USB power plug?

You could opt to buy your vape assesories at fasttech for example. They would take a little longer to arrive but you could have them at half the money and with the remaining you can pick up an extra battery there.

Good luck and happy vaping times on your new gear.

Some flavors react more with plastic than others. I used to keep a small vnano with 24 mg cuban cigar flavor in it and I would just take an occasional puff and that would sit there for weeks before needing a refill, and I found the longer it sat their the more plasticy it tasted. I only noticed the plasticy taste after I started vaping mainly with glass protanks. I used to vape on a plastic bottom coil tank before the protanks and never noticed the plastic taste until after I started using mostly glass tanks.

Heheh :p that shall be my plan and wow! Thanks so much for the site suggestion, I'm looking now and theres some really great bulk bundles here for a much cheaper price than I would get with just buying 1 already! I'll look around some and see what I can replace and come up with a setup that'll be even cheaper.

Thank you for the extra battery option as well. I didn't think of that ^^~

Your welcome. Keep in mind that with regular free shipping it takes a while to arrive. If you are located in the US the ems speed post option is worth the extra dollar or so. Check the forums for more info as I'm never shipped to or from the US.

Yes they have plenty starter kits. Think even with dct tank if that makes your heart beat a little faster. For sure they have bunnies , I checked :)
Besides bunnies also plenty other bling etc.
Watch it though ... FT is very addictive ;)

After about 10 months of vaping I've learned a few things. I don't think flavor is a big difference between "plastic wall/based DCT's opposed to the glass ones". Glass will have a longer lifespan, as long as you don't drop it!

The most important thing I've learned is the wisdom of "if you have 2 of an item, then you only have one".

At a minimum you will need two batteries, two chargers, and two tanks.

Chargers are the most durable, and as long as you don't lose those things too frequently, two should get you by.

Batteries die or get broken more frequently than any of us ever plan on. I usually have two charged batteries in case one dies, as well as an older backup in case I lose or break one of my main two batteries.

For tanks I've always liked to switch between two flavors. But I've also had issues with tanks leaking (mostly because I've abused them). I usually carry 4 tanks, two Aerotanks and a couple EVOD2's as back up.

Whatever setup you go with, I'd keep those basic ideas in mind.

Do be wary around the FT. It is not a place where every item for sale is a quality product. In fact, the vast majority of items they have there are atrocious. This just means spending the time to read all the reviews, and pick out every negative review for every 20 passively positive reviews. Make sure that when you buy a clone, that you don't go asking the authentic's manufacturer why your device doesn't work. I've seen some people do it, to my amusement.

I don't think I need to cover the plastic vs glass thing. Y'all have already said more than I need to.

Good luck with your starter kit!
