I just read this thread and I think I may be in trouble: www .e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/site-feedback-help/78263-new-members-how-many-posts-do-i-need.html - not trying to spam, sorry.

Good question. I really miss some aspects of smoking. I'm very glad to not "have" to smoke due to being addicted, and my experience is if I even have one analog there is a good chance I would start up again. But the idea of a zero nic, zero stink e-cig that has a very similar experience (look, feel, menthol taste) to analogs would be a lot of fun now and then. So that is where I'll be going once I can post in the 0 nic forum.

It's much better to vape than to pick up smoking again. I am sure many former smokers can understand the urges associated with quitting, even several years later.

A quick and easy way to get to the post count (which you have already) is just to say hello to other newbies. Once you've made it, it could take the ECF servers about an hour to update. Then you are good to go!

The flavors are great, the vapor is fun, and the reduced risk is wonderful! I really enjoy vaping. I've reduced my nic to about 2mg. I'm thinking about stepping down to 1mg very soon. I'm trying to get the timing just right. I moved to 1mg too fast and stepped back up to 2mg recently.

Good luck in your search! And welcome!! :)

Just be careful you don't end up hooked on the hand to mouth habit! haha! That's my big thing. Why I won't ever be able to stop vaping, more than likely....even though I'm currently at 4mg. nicotine, and heading for 0 in the next few months.

better than foot to mouth.

Thanks for the friendly greetings everyone! Yes, 4 years is great, at this point I sincerely think I could probably go the rest of my life without smoking, but even all these years later and with the small number of cigs a day I smoked, I still would smoke if I could. I don't have the cravings I don't think, but I really enjoyed it. So if I could gain back 75% of the pleasure with 10% of the hassle through Vaping, I think I'd go for it. The tricky part is unlike many in the vaping community, I would actually like to imitate the look and feel and taste and experience of the real thing - with 0 nic juice.

I did make a longer post about what I am doing/looking for, but very few have replied. I'd love to get your feedback and suggestions. That thread is here:

Thanks!

zero nic juice is very doable but from an economic perspective you really ought to look at making your own. Zero nic is harder to find with vendors and generally isn't any cheaper than juice with nic and the nicotine base is one of the most expensive components. PG and VG is dirt cheap but be sure to buy food grade, preferably kosher.

Flavors can be had from many vendors. Google search (Perfumers) Apprentice and Flavor West. They both make good flavors and are available from multiple vendors.

Also there is a great mixing calculator out there from breaktru.com. It's a simple windows app, free and comes with some pretty good recipes. I don't have the link but a google search on breaktru should get you close. Mixing and experimenting is fun.
