It's really simple.

1) At least two Joyetech eGo-C Twists, or two Vision Spinners. Flip a coin.

2) At least two Vivi Nova tank/attys; any combination of the 3.5ml regular size or the 2.0ml Mini. The Mini looks a little nicer on the battery, the regular obviously holds more. Maybe get one or two of each. It's great to have a few so each one can be used for a different flavor.

3) Two chargers in case one conks out, or so you can troubleshoot (as in "hmmm, is it the charger, or the battery"?)

4) Lots of juice. The most you can afford to buy. Five flavors would be nice; 80/20 18mg will get you down the road. Figure on about 6ml per day.

5) Optional, but very nice: a trim ring that covers the external 510 threads on the battery, and neatens up the look between the battery and the Vivi Nova. About $2.

6) Optional, but very nice: a lanyard so you can keep your PV around your neck. Much harder to lose it that way, and super convenient.

If you have any trouble finding anything, I can dig up some links.

You're in for a treat; you are going to love this vape. There are better ones out there, but this one is going to be very, very good, and IMO it's very complicated to get the very best vapes. Winding your own coils, making your own wicks, exploring all of the advanced PV's and attachments available, etc. IMO the bang for the buck on this setup is phenomenal, and you'll be vaping better than 98% of most first-time vapers.

Good luck, and don't be shy about asking questions.

Is this going to work with the joytechs?
Vision 5ml Nova Tank Clearomizer, V2
Also this thread adapter do I want the 510 to ego? Thanks for your help I'm just trying to get this right as I don't want to spend a bunch of money and not be able to smoke when my order shows up. I'm ordering two of these.
eGo C Twist Variable Voltage Stainless
I was also looking at these are the novas really worth twice as much
Kanger T2 Rebuildable Clearomizer - Smoke

Thanks for helping a new. It would really help if I'm looking at the wrong nova for you to link me the right one from the same website my links are from. Have a great day.

Hello, and welcome! I've found this forum and this site to be EXTREMELY helpful. Best thing about it: NO BULLIES!!! Everybody respects each other's opinion (for the most part), and there are a lot of knowledgeable people here that are more then happy to help you every step of the way. I just stopped smoking analogs COMPLETELY about a month ago, and I've been vaping for almost 6 months. I finally found the right juices to switch to when I really want that throat hit and "cigarette" feel, and now I just grab the proper tank and battery when it's time for a "cig break" at work. I can stand there with the guys and vape while they smoke, with absolutely ZERO urge for anything but what i'm vaping. In fact, I still have the last pack of smokes I bought sitting on my desk at home getting stale. When my wife lights up, I can join her and vape...no problem. Didn't happen overnight, though. It's a choice you'll make when you're ready to make it, and when you find the right mix of stuff, it'll hit you that you are actually getting way more pleasure from what you're vaping than what you'd normally be smoking. At least, that's what happened for me. But welcome, and hit me up if you've got any questions or thoughts. Always happy to "pay it forward".

Hi! and Welcome!

Since your not sure what-goes-with-what, a preconfigured kit might be a better way to go. Eliminates guesswork on your end. May also be less costly (leave that to you to decide), or worth the extra few dollars for an out-of-the-box solution.

Starter Kit - 1100mah or Starter Kit - 900 (Vision & ST) - DiscountVapers.com or Starter Kit - 650 - DiscountVapers.com (discounted price for newbies). Not sure if there are Twist kits there, but I've seen this one mentioned before: Ego Twist Vision Kit (V2 Long Wick)

2 batteries, 2 clearos, case. I like when the kits have '2', do you won't be without a backup.

That Vivi Nova is the exact one I recommend.

You're not going to need any thread adapters, unless I'm missing something. A "trim ring" is nice to have though, to cover the external 510 threads. If this doesn't make sense to you, let me know.

That VV stainless eGo-style battery is a "Hello", and not a genuine Joyetech, and does not get a thumbs-up from me.

And yes, the Vivi Nova is worth what it sells for. For $4.99, try the Kanger as well; I've heard good things about it.

I have yet to see a "proper" (IMO) Twist kit. The GotVapes kit comes close, but no cigar, again IMO.

The other kits seem to be all constant-voltage, which I do not recommend at all.

John D,
Which one of these is the trim ring?
Electrionic cigarette Adapters
And thanks again for helping this newb.

Those are all thread adapters, to go from one thread standard to another.

The trim ring I'm referring to is on this page:

Cones for all your ecig products

Second row down, on the left. There are others as well, for different "looks", and different-sized tanks. I think this one would work well with either size Vivi Nova on a Twist, Spinner, kGo, or any eGo-class battery.

Thanks for the thanks, and you are very welcome. :)

Hi all, so I ordered a joytech and the starter kit I linked earlier. And 15 different kinds of juice mostly from Mt Baker vapers they are in the same state and I ordered via priority so hopefully I'm vaping Monday or Tuesday at the latest.
I was so excited I went to walgreens and bought 2 blu full flavor throw aways. Boy do these work better than the njoy. My first one only lasted 3.5 hours. At 10_bucks a pop I wouldn't be able to afford to quit death sticks at those prices. But I definitely see this getting me of those cancer sticks. Once my real toys arrive its on! Thanks for all ten your help. This Site trocks!
