Congrats! I am still trying to stay off of the analogs! I plan on taking advantage of the Black Friday sales as well and get some higher nicotine carts and/or liquid to see if this helps! Yeah Black Friday!!

Oh yeah, Black Friday will solve all of our problems ;)

Good for you !! Stick to it, you really will feel better.

Regarding the $$$$, I'm still under the amount in my signature banner,
but I'm just NOT saying by how much....:lol:

I'm not under my banner - altho' the banner doesn't take into account what I tracked manually for that bit while I still smoked up what I had left (had cut back to about 1/3 of what I normally smoked). Suz - there is hope yet... I think the combination of finally not having any analogs on hand with higher nic juices is what did it for me!

So yeah, my total saved is more, but my total spent is more, more ;o)

Congrats! U CAN DO IT!

I passed my two month and break-even milestones this week. Alto, I'm probably going to blow the break-even part soon by upgrading. I keep telling myself I'm perfectly satisfied with my 510 and array of batt chargers but the urge to move up to an Ego or Leo is becoming irresistible.

not to encourate excess spending but............

the 510 was my first purchase (24 days ago) and did its job of getting me off analogs but all the talk about the EGO I deceded with my first supplies order Id get an EGO passthrough to try since all the attys and carts I already had would be compatible so no harm in trying it out. Here is what I found:

Smoother draw (mostly due to the cone)
Better TH
more vapor
Battery life......charge overnight use all day vs. switch several times per day (510).
Tried dripping yesterday.......better flavor, no carts to fill or change.
probably more, but enough said.

Absolutely love the EGO even though I thought I "needed" something that looked and felt like an analog when I started just weeks ago.

Definitely DonG! I love my many eGos! I was kinda lucky, in that a friend had an eGo and let me take a puff on it first. Started reading here, but didn't really know or understand a whole lot, other than I knew i wanted to get what he had. I also wanted something right then and there, something to hold me over until what I order would arrive.

Thankfully, L-F's shipping was right on queue fast - and I only had to fuss with the cig shop's GAH version and carts for a few days. I knew they weren't my investment, that was in the mail ;o)

Obviously I love the eGo, or would I have bought another kit (yeah, 2 more of everything? LoL), then a PT (a godsend for sure!) and then a 900mah batty?

Still spending in search of ultimate juices, have many I like, but seems the latest orders of larger quantities are going to need to steep. EEK! I need to go find that video about steeping again ;o)

At 11:59pm on November 17, 2010... I finished my LAST analog. I am determined not to buy another pack! Pray for those that I come into contact with in the next week or two, they'll need it ;o)

According to my spreadsheet based on avg smoked daily and current cost per pack, I'd already saved $64.13 just cutting down tremendously since getting my Joye eGo kits on 11/4/10. Ooh, that's about 2 weeks, not too shabby.

So, I'm a DROP in the bucket towards the ol' break even point on what I've spent on vaping, and already have the next 10 purchases planned out in my head... pushing that point farther and farther away! LoL

Oh, and NOW, I deserve a banner in the sig ;o)
Let the celebrations begin! :toast:

Feels damned good doesn't it?
Congratulations to you friend

I've saved a lot of money also and my sizable investment into vaping has been well spent.
I'm enjoying vaping much more than tobacco. I can't stand the smell of analogs.

Sure does! Thanks! eGo made it so easy!

No kidding on the smell of analogs... I have always hated the 2nd hand smell, or the "burning end" smoke - despised when people would light one, and let it sit and burn in an ashtray, filling the air with that stench. Yet, would turn around and burn one myself (smoking it of course, not letting it sit). I would usually hold it away from me, because I couldn't stand it LoL Yeah, and did that for more years than I will admit to here ;o)

As others have said before me ..... Congrats. I don't worry about the money one bit.
Its all about living longer, and happier for me.

Thanks, that's what I keep tellin'' hubby - don't worry about the money LoL

Congratulations!
I smoked my last the day I got my 510. 42 days and 3 eGo's later I've got my mod Super T P-18 AND P-10 on order. I'm obsessed. Totally. But so what, I'm not killing myself. We are NON SMOKERS! WhooHoo!
I'll break even next March - so what?
Besides, I thought I LIKED smoking??? I LOVE vaping!

Wow, 42 days to a mod, what took ya so long??? *giggles*

 Congrats to you !!
I've found that I rarely miss smoking especially when around smokers.
I'm still searching for that elusive all day vape myself. I have a few I like and switch between them.
"Break even point" <<< that's funny :p
Hang in there

I definitely don't, but I will still socialize at work now and go out with them, but I can't stand downwind of them. I know they're looking at me funny, as I do circles around them as the wind shifts ;o)

Break even... yeah, as elusive as an all day vape ;o)

A lot of people don't make it super public that they've quit. YOU SHOULD! Everyone is going to be proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself as well. Like it or not, there are probably people you know who have worried every time they've seen you smoke that you're going to get sick. Quitting is a great thing to do both for you and for your loved ones.

Way to go! I'm 3 months in and my Fiance is still overjoyed that I quit.

Have a wonderful thanksgiving!

Go for the ego! It's so nice to be able to carry one battery for a full day. I have the janty ego hard sided carry case. It holds a couple of 6ml bottles of juice, extra cartos and a spare battery. The case is really nicely made, sturdy and all I need to carry for a day or two. Only other item I need for a weekend away is the charger. Until I got comfortable with this system I always kept a few analogs around just in case. Found out I didn't need them and haven't bought a pack in almost 2 months. Just can't hardly believe I don't smoke anymore after all these years but it's true and thanks to my ego I don't miss it. I've spent more on vaping per day so far but a lot of that is startup costs. But for me it's not so much about the monetary costs as it is about the improvement in my health. No smokers cough, no rattle on deep breaths, greatly reduced phlegm awesome! Another benefit.... Drove to work in the rain today, used to have to roll the window down to smoke and get wet or smell bad when at work... Now just vaped with the window up and stayed dry and no stinky clothes.

Yeah, we need some large sandwich board style signs (with ECF addy of course) ... with a digital ticker like our sigs!

Preacher --> Choir on the eGo! I have 6 battys now, plenty of attys/carts/drips/cartos... building that flavor collection is now what's costing me!

I still crack the window, partly out of habit, partly because I know that fogginess (altho' it's not nasty like smoke) is still stickin' to the window LoL Well, that and visibility - the huge vapor cloud in front of my face, a bit hard to see thru LoL

Good job on the not smoking I am currently just over a month and have taken 2 puffs off a cig and the taste was nasty, nasty, nasty. I can't believe for 31 years that is what it tasted like.

Way to go! Yes, it is unbelievable!

I was just outside a lil' bit ago, programming a door code for a new employee - when another was out there smoking. I *choked/gagged* at her and laughed. Then I was like, seriously, you wouldn't believe how much different it is!

Happy Turkey Day to all! Thankful for: PVs!!!
Hrm... who's got the recipe for vaped turkey (as opposed to smoked)??? (and no, not saying this as an ejuice suggestion... pizza and tuna are bad enough!)

way to go congrats. I have had a few analogs since starting, I cant bring myself to throw away my last pack lol

Exactly what I did but was amazed just how long that pack lasted me ;o)

Keep track of your savings in terms of how many fewer you smoked, so you can at least in your head, add it to what these counters show. Me - my spreadsheet tells me to date I've saved... $104ish. Ticker, not so much LoL
