I like to have the best! Not in everything but in vaping, yes! It's something that takes up a major part of my day. I vape, I read about vaping, I vape some more! I started off with the ego-t. I can't knock it too bad cause it got me off cigs. But we all know how those are crap. Then I bought some clearomizers. Not a bad product. I still wanted better. I then bought some ego-twist with the Mini Novas. Been on those since. Can't complain.. But I want better! What's better? The provari.. I hope I stop buying after that. Lol.. Anyways should I buy the starter kit? Can I use the mini Novas on it? If so, then I guess I can buy the provari, charger, and some batts. Right? The starter kit is more $$ and comes with cartomizers. Which I don't use. The provari has a 510 connection right? I just need to decide either black or silver finish.. And warranty or not.. Thank you all for your help.. Wouldn't be where I'm at today if it wasn't for all of you!!!

I quit being interested in even window shopping for devices since I bought my provari, other than another provari. My first one was a silver with red led and my second is the black with blue led. I'm not interested in a mini since I prefer batt life over size and the mini isn't that much smaller than the regular provari. I use boge cartos (in tanks) and the full size vivi nova on mine. For small size, I have a vv madvapes box that goes to work with me.. when it finally quits I'll buy another. It's small and the batts can last me one full day or two not so full days.

Two Provari's suit me quit nicely. I'm not a collector so I have no need for more than 2. On the vv box, I only use carto tanks, never the vivi nova.. with recoiling/rewicking my heads, it's easy to get a short and I'm afraid I'll mess something up on it. With the provari's.. they have short protection, if my VN gets a short, it will give an error code and won't fire... letting me know I screwed up when making my coil.

It's taken me quite a while to finally get my perfect setups and now it's a little boring LOL. Is the blue led worth the extra $15? I didn't think so when I bought my first one buy now that I have one with a blue led, I love it.. it's so crisp and cool and easy to read. Nothing wrong with a red led though. Having the Provari's took all of the frustration out of vaping (on the battery/device end of things anyway) and with Provape's excellent warranty and customer service.. it's taken all the worry out of it too. I still watch and study all the new devices coming out but I'm not the least bit interested in buying any of them.

Does the nova make a 3ohm head? Do I need to use a 3? What do you use?

the vivi nova comes with 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8 heads. I guess you can buy 3ohm heads. But I've found the resistance on my "store bought" heads doesn't match what they say they are. I like using higher resistance because I get longer batt life. When I recoil my own, I usually get around 2ohms (give or take). I use 3ohm boge cartos in my tanks and I can tell a big difference in batt life when I use them.

I also am addicted to looking at every new toy that comes along, as well as in a perpetual state of desire for some of the higher end stuff. But what it has come down to for me personally is new cool stuff to put on top of my Provari:) There is lots of interest, and may always be in different devices, purely mechanical being a good example. But I'm totally happy with my "battery setup", so I'm really just hunting the next thing to vape on it. I love the zenesis experience, so I screw a zap on my provari. Vivi novas work great, are inexpensive and carry friendly, sometimes I screw those on my Provari. I recently got ahold of some the Russian designed Kayfun silica based RBA, I even have the mod, but I don't use it, I attach the atty to my provari. See a theme? Lol, it removes a huge part of the equation when trouble shooting too, step 1.) it's not the battery unit , move on to step 2 ;)

i didn't buy the extended warranty either. I can't say wether that was a smart move or not. It's built rock solid and no problems whatsoever after almost 6 months of daily use. I know provape stands behind their products so if I do have an issue at some point I can send it in and get it fixed, no idea what that might cost if and when it happens, but its good to know they are there if I need them. That's not a knock on anyone else, lots of vendors stand behind their products, but I like having a major player to back me up. I get the feeling they will still be there doing their thing if I need them down the line.
