I'm ready to buy the best e cig available. What should I get?

I've been off cigarettes for 8 days and have been vaping with a vapor blends brand eco tank. I get plenty of vapor and plenty of nicotine. I don't know how to clean it, so I haven't done that yet. I'm looking for a startup kit that will give the most vapor and will be the easiest to maintain. Thanks. I paid 24.95 for the eco tank and have saved up some money for my next purchase.

Welcome to ecf. I just looked up your gear and it looks like a knockoff of the original Kanger I16 clear. Does your tank come apart? Or is it glued together? You can look up INNOKIN I 16 clearomizer on ebay to get a look at the original which comes apart to clean and replace whatever you need. The I clears are a little cheaper than what you paid. But they perform great.
Oh, and congrats on making the switch to vaping.
:)

MVP 2 iTaste 2.0 MVP Kit with iClear16 that is about as good as it gets for that price range with important factors - ease of use and battery life. I have one - I love it. I also have an SVD which can be had in that price range and a vamo V3 - I prefer the MVP 2 and it has the longest battery life - also easier than buying and charging (and safely handling) 18350/18650 batteries that power an SVD/Vamo/Mech etc.

Really its a personal preference as well - as far as aesthetics and such.

So you have an ego/510 battery, maybe 650mah - good start. You have a CE6 style, top coil clearomizer, also a good starting point.
Honestly, there is no best, just what each of us like the most. I prefer bottom coil clearomizers. For now my 1100mah twist(variable voltage) batteries work great for me. You'll hear a lot about Kanger ProTanks (PT's) they are bottom coil designs, high quality clearos. If I were to make a suggestion - spend some time looking at all the vendors here, don't bother with others right now. Find what fits in your budget. Get yourself several clearos to use with different juices, and get different kinds so you can try out the different styles, each one has it's own unique qualities. Oh, and don't be afraid to ask a lot of questions!

Best you can go with on that budget is a iTaste 2.0 MVP or 1300mAh spinner and just clearos/cartos. Not quite what you're looking for, but it's a bit hard to take the next step on that budget (needing to buy a device, 18650 batteries, a charger, and then RDAs/RBAs).

But for the next step (vamo, SVD etc), it's $40-60 for the VV/VW device, $10 for batteries (ideally want a few), $10-20 for the charger, and maybe $10 for a good RDA and $30 for a clone RBA. It will be my next step too and something that will be in line with your next step, but it's not really in your budget yet (or mine).

I've got ego twists and spinners right now, and novas, EVODs, with pro tanks coming soon. So for a month or more I'm sticking with a $25 vision spinner 1300mAh, and a few $5 clearomizers (but I am getting a $18 pro tank 2 and a $13 mini protank 2).
Maybe I'm wasting money buying the protanks when I should be saving for the VV/VW device or mech mod and atomizers to suit, but really I'd probably use the ego/spinners and clearomizers more when leaving the home than I would a SVD and RSST anyway.

For less then $75, I would get a "itaste mvp" and a "pro-tank II".

The mvp is a box mod with a built in battery, some people have reported 3-4 days on a charge.

The pro tank II is a very popular tank that holds around 3ml of liquid and can be completely disassembled easily for cleaning, and the coil is replaceable or rebuildable if you decide to try rebuilding.

Mvp is less then $50 from fasttech and it comes with either a itaste 16 tank or itaste 30 tank, if you would rather have it faster they sell for around $60 elsewhere.

The pro tank can be had for less then 20 almost anywhere.

How often do I have to replace the clearomizer?

As I said earlier, I have a vapor blends brand eco tank. I've been told so far that it's a knockoff of a more popular brand, but I still don't know how to maintain and clean it. I've been cigarette free for 8 days on this device. I vape alot and did use it off and on for a few weeks before my cigarette quit date, so I'm thinking it needs a cleaning.

In two months I never had to replace a clearomizer. Out of the 8 I have, and using them a lot (trying and swapping new flavours multiple times a day is common when first starting out), I've had to replace a coil twice total after 2 months. Most of my clearomizers have only ever been cleaned once a week or so, not needing any replacement or repairs. Two have had simple screw on coil heads replaced though.

All the clearomizers I bought were coil replacable (some CE4 types aren't), and the coils for novas, evods etc cost about $2 ea
The last time a coil failed I had already bought some kanthal wire and silica wick and made my own coil up anyway instead of buying a replacement coil head, (if I couldn't do that, there wasn't much point in upgrading beyond clearomizers , as [higher level/spec] RBAs and RDAs require the user to be able to make their own coil and wick anyway)

Hi and welcome to ECF.

If this is the tank you're using it's a non rebuildable CE4
Vapor Blends Eco Tank (Must be 18 or over to Purchase)

I don't clean the head (coil+ wick) with a QTip as it may dislodge the coil= short. After dry burning rinse the ash form the coil with warm water. Washing cleans tank and dry burn cleans the juice gunk from coil.

:thumb: +1 for the MVP or eGo Twist/Spinner recommendations. Follow this link and watch the video. (And ignore the E-Roll cigalike)

New To Vaping | Vape Revolution

If a cigalike isn't what the OP wants, then yes, ignore it. But it's quite a good piece of gear for those of us who stealth vape at work and/or just like the feel of something more like an analog. Everyone should vape what works for them, not what someone else says is best.

Best is very subjective and you should select the equipment that suits you best. Just because it is the "best" does not mean it fits you. One can say a Ferrari is the best car out there, but given my needs and my level of income, it does not suit me at all, I cannot fit a child seat in there and I do not need a car costs about the same as a house.

I am glad you are doing your research and asking for recommendations. My advice would be to take your time to find the mod you really want. Once you find it, get it or save up for it and all should be happy. Unless of course you are a spaz like most of us here and are looking for the next mod before you bought your next mod...

Happy hunting.

If you have access to a brick and mortar, go there and window shop. Ask the crew lots of questions, they should be helpful. If they aren't, don't spend your money there!
Personally, I would recommend the iTaste VV, I have a MVP as well, but really prefer the VV. It does everything the MVP does, and it's much smaller. Less battery life, but it's a trade off.
