Actually I'm researching so I can start building. My fiancee and I both vape. We spend a ton of money on pre made coils and even liquids. I have been vaping for close to 4 years now and still not completely satisfied with my equipment. I want to start building our coils and wicks to save money and Taylor it to how we vape. Current set up for both of us is istick 20 with nautilus mini tank. I'm thinking of investing in the subox kit for both of us. It has the new kanger mini subtank with the rta deck. And then maybe I get me a segelli 150. I think with the regulated mods I won't have to worry about batteries as much and I can still dive into sub ohm.any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.starting with tanks then go on from there...

You don't need to change the device to do rebuildable............ The Istick 20watt is the perfect device to learn to build with. It limits you to ohm ranges that are safer, more familiar and easier to learn with. Trust me a TRUE rebuildable atty will be a MAJOR upgrade over the Nauty tanks. Even if setup with same ohm and run at same power.

I can't say anything about the Subox, but I've got two (older style) Subtank minis and they're pretty easy to build on. I've only built one coil so far, but I didn't have any problems with the process. You'll find the vape that much more satisfying when it's coming from a coil that you've wicked and built yourself.

The Subox kit is a good choice, but you may want to wait until the updated version is released (K-Box mini will have a spring loaded pin). If you only plan on using it with the Sub Tank mini then the current fixed pin is fine. I have 3 Sub Tank Mini's (one of them is the new version) and use them everyday. They are a breeze to build on, pretty easy to wick (easier with the new RBA) and vape really nice IF you don't push them too hard. I build 1.2Ω coils (spaced) and vape them at 22.5 watts and I never get dry hits, get good flavor and good vapor.

With the Sigelei 150 you do need to take the batteries into account, even though it is regulated. 20A batteries will be fine if you stay under 100(ish) watts, but if you push it higher you are going to want 30A batteries. You also need to pair (marry) NEW batteries in a dual setup, like the Sig 150, meaning you always use and charge the same two batteries at the same time. Most people typically marry 4 batteries to a single dual battery device, for rotation purposes. If you have other options while 2 batteries are charging, then 2 will do just fine. I have 2 LG HE4's for my Sig 150, but I vape my Velocity RDA at 60 watts running a simple dual .4Ω build.

Can't I use 30 A batts even if I don't go over the 100 mark? Won't that give me more battery life?
