Hi Everyone!

I am brand new to e-cigarettes as of about a week ago. I bought an e-Go CE4 here on the streets in Bangkok. I got MB-H liquid in the kit, but I also bought Liqua Mint at the time. In the beginning I only used the mint flavor, as I had no idea what the heck MB-H was. Later I saw some speculation online that MB-H is "Marlboro, high nicotine". I don't know if this is true or not. But I have tried mixing the two flavors with good luck.

I was only smoking a half-pack of cigs a day when I bought the e-cig, and immediately ditched the cigarettes. vaping is just so much better- no chest pain, no hacking and coughing all the time, etc. Oh and my wife hates the smell of cigarettes so that's a bonus. Here is where it gets complicated. I bought a couple more flavors because I like sweet stuff- I got Liqua strawberry and Liqua vanilla.

The new liquids make a nice mix, but I couldn't figure out why the strawberry and vanilla give such a strong throat hit compared to mint and MB-H. Didn't think much of it though. And all of my liquids are Liqua brand except for the MB-H. Then all of a sudden, after vaping the vanilla/strawberry mix (50/50) for a day or maybe a day and a half- blammo! EXPLOSIVE ......... I got it under control (immodium!) and switched back to 50/50 cigarettes and vaping with my MB-H and Liqua mint mix. So far it seems that the strawberry and the vanilla (or at least one of them) is the problem. Too early to say for sure though.

I have so many questions. Why do some people on message boards swear that the ........ comes from VG, but others swear it is the PG? And some say it is the flavoring, and still others are sure it is the sweeteners in the liquid? How is a noob supposed to sort all of this out?!?!?

I just ordered some Mister E Liquid clear- which is 70%PG and 30%VG. No flavor. I want something more basic and pure so I can possibly narrow down the cause of my problems.

I think my next purchase will be a nice clearomizer like a Kangar Mini Protank 2. Will this work well with my 1100mah batteries? I got two in the kit, and the USB charger seems to work great for me. I would like a glass tank so I don't have to worry about my liquid attacking the plastic, and so I have more choice of flavors. Will I need to choose the coils too, like 2.2 ohm or whatever? Can you advise me on this? What is the difference? I don't care about vapor at all. I just want my nicotine fix and to calm the cravings! Also I want a good quality and durable clearomizer. Capacity is not important as I might only vape 1ml per day or less.

Forgot to mention that all of my liquids are 12mg/ml. I am hoping to cut down to 6mg liquids at some point.

I would also be interested in a fancier sub-$100 setup at some point. If you are using something slim and unobtrustive and you like the quality, please tell me about it!

The mini Protank II sounds like a good choice. I don't happen to like the stainless steel drip tip, but there's always some trade off, and I do like the glass tank. Hopefully, you do have a choice of replacement coil heads. With the Protank II, the Mini Protank II, and the T3s, I favor the 1.8 Ohm coils, and never over 2 Ohm. It will work well with your 1100 mAh batteries. With 70% pg, you're using what I favor. Less visible vapor, but good throat hit.

I don't know how prices run in Bangkok, but the next step up seems to be the Joyetech Twist. It looks about the same, but it is variable voltage. There are other brands of Twist out there, but the Joyetech brand does seem to last much longer than most others.

A drip tip is the part you put in your mouth to vape. The MPT2 is a great choice. Glass tank and a metal drip tip is a plus for me. You don't have to worry about your juice destroying them. Take a look at an itaste vv V3 or mvp. Both are great and would be good upgrades for you. The MVP is not as obtrusive as it would seem.

Hi and welcome to ECF :) COngrats on switching over to e-cigs and continuing the effort to find what is right for you. A lot of folks have an issue much smaller than yours and use that as the "oh- well, I tried it didnt work" and give up. Stick with it :)

As far as the....digestive issues - there are many symptoms of quitting tobacco and its several thousand nasty chemicals and this can be one of them. This may be a good starting point for some ideas on what the body may go through as you stop ingesting those chemicals http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...hen-quitting-tobacco-changing-ecigarette.html

Good luck and happy vaping :)

I had similar issues.
Lasted over a month for me.
I was still smoking a few cigarettes a day. But i wnet from a pack a day to 5.
It did go away.
I chalked it up to my body adjusting to all the changes, i almost gave up.
Thank god i didnt work.
I had even gone to the doctor... Between crapping my self and the thirty pounds i gained i was pretty sure i was dieing or something.
Turns out im fine.

Mister e is a good company.
The itaste vv3 and mvp2 are great battery options. Check 101vapes.

I havnt had luck with my mini protank 2.
My coils burn easy. I would reccomend getting extra coils.
If it starts to vape funny, just change the coil and move on.

Personally i would stear clear of liqua. I have a couple bottles, but there is no telling whats in them. And other brands taste better anyway.

Some of my faves are
Mister e
The vapor room
Alice in vapeland
Aroma
Nicoticket

Some of my fave tanks
Iclear x.1
Iclear 30b
Smok pbc v2
Smok tumbler
Ibtank
Crazyvapes

Definitely upgrade to a better tank. The pt2 is a good tank use the 1.8 coils as mentioned above. If your having issues with harsh or not enough throat hit may be ahead to get an aerotank and use the pro tank 2 1.8 ohm coils in it with your battery. Also you may need to have your pg/vg mixed a little difference according to the flavors your using. For instance I like banana and coconut at 80/20 with double flavor. I like sweet creamy flavors but if Im vaping something with citrus in it Ill change the pg/vg to 60/40 to mellow it out a bit. As far as the health issues I agree with what someone said above about the withdraw from cigs. If you think it has to do with pg/vg just try changing up on the mix. When I first quit I had some withdraws but its just from the toxins leaving your system.

You may want to go to a variable voltage battery like the ego twist or a vision spinner of some type so you can adjust to suit your needs. E cigs make quitting very easy once you get equipment to satisfy your needs. Good luck

Mainly the nicotine is going to be responsible for the level of throat hit. Then the pg/VG ratio. Then of course the juice itself.

For example.you can have 2 juice that are both 6mg nic, and 50/50 pg/VG, but one having a stronger throat hit than the other.

Try different juices and you will find something smooth that you like. I personally avoid harsh juices.
