:facepalm:I realized earlier I left work with my usb charger plugged in my computer with one of my batteries, sigh. Thank goodness I have my pcc otherwise I'd be climbing the walls and charging a batt right now. It's slow, but better than nuthin.
Getting discouraged of late with these batteries and my xl auto one died. Looking for a bigger battery that take cartomizers I have now for an 808d1. Maybe an elegant? Back to reseaching. I know a box mod or botttomfeeder is not for me..thought I was done with finding something just right for me. But I can say for sure, I don't have to worry about liquid. FSUSA is 'perfect' for me.
Just rambling, one heck of a day I had. On a side note....32 days strong, wahoo, go me. lol

Way to go on the 32 days, div!!! :)

I'm a bit discouraged tonight myself. *sigh* Having leakage issues here (HA! doesn't sound quite right, does it?) and getting fed up. Grrr...

Anyway, I used to have a Defender (same as Elegant but from different place) and was a very nice unit. If you are interested in vv at all, the Buzz is available for the 808 cartos too.

I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day for the both of us. :)

I liked the Buzz right from the very beginning and it has only grown better as far as I'm concerned. Its always with me, haven't had a single problem with it and I like being able to dial in to the right spot for each juice.

My wife loves the Defender. Its nice looking, small and dainty, so its perfect for her.

On both the Buzz and the Defender the battery(ies) last all day.

We use mainly mega-808's and Joye 510's on both, and just recently Tanks.

I love my Buzz too! I also have an Elegant and can tell you that it is the same as a Riva if that is really the route that you want to take. The Buzz is inexpensive as far as mods go and I really love the battery life as well as the variable voltage. Plus I like having a mod that uses regular batteries that are easy to get.

Dear Dummy, geesh, I mean Dear Div,

The Buzz is a vv. The Defender - Elegant - Riva is a nice little batty and if dialing in to a certain place on the unit for various juices isn't important to you, these would be great. Also, they are not expensive, so you might want to try one or two of those first.

Oh, and Div, there isn't anything Dummy about going 32 days without a cigarette. That is something to be sooo proud of and I know I'm really proud of you too.

Good job!!!

hmmmm, you all are giving me other options to consider...see there I go off researching again. I seriuosly hate to buy the wrong thing...buzz, defender and vv, as long as they aren't monster big, I'll be okay with it. Thanks!!

The buzz is bigger than the elegant/riva/defender. But so worth the difference! No, it doesn't look remotely like a cigarette, but the performance is amazing! Consider looking at the classifieds, too. You may find a really good deal on whatever you decide to go with!

is the defender from vapornine? And I'll check the classified just in case.
Dear sweetie TT...hugs right back. I seriously wouldn't know if dialing anything in would make a diff in my juice as I never tried one of those before...see I know nuthin. But I'll learn, if not, dang you'll know cuz I'll ask.

The newer Variable Volt from notcig (maker of the Buzz) is slimmer but just a tad longer than the buzz. It is the Infinity. I've not tried that one so couldn't say anything one way or the other. Again, also pricey.
And I'm a girl and the buzz is fine for me. BUT I find that 3.7 volt PVs (like the Riva/Elegant/Defender) just don't have enough power. If you find that 3.7V is enough power for you, then definitely look into one of those. They are less expensive and smaller/daintier.

tg, only found one place right now for a buzz, and the size is intimidating, but then again, so is the price....I'll keep looking though. Thanks!

I hesitated for months because I thought that the Buzz was HUGE. But I actually found once I had it that it is quite comfortable in the hand and nothing like it looks in pictures. If you could imagine two rolls of quarters stacked end to end that is the approximate size of the Buzz. Whichever one you do choose try and go with one that has been around for awhile and has had all of the "bugs" worked out. I am always leary of the latest and greatest for that reason. I liked my Elegant very much when I got it stepping up from the standard KR808 I just quickly found that I needed and wanted more power and battery life. So in hindsight I wish that I would have started with something like the Buzz and not wasted $ on all of the others. Although I do think that many of us need to take those steps in order to get to what really works best for our own particular likes and dislikes. Good luck with your decision. I know that it won't be easy.

Div - Like others have told you, I've moved on to vv. I liked my Buzz a lot for at home, but I wouldn't have carried it out in public. Now, I'm using a Provari - same thing (don't want to carry it out in public). So... it all depends on where you vape the most. I have an Elegant from Cigeasy (just like the Defender) and only use it when I'm not at home. That said, my husband still uses his at work and is fine with it (at home, he uses a Provari).

Decisions, decisions. :)

Don't forget for the 808D-1 - the PIGCIG by LeCig! I have had an Elegant Easy but prefer the PigCig. It seems to hit better and the cone is tapered which makes it look nice! The 808 cartos fit nicely on the PigCig. It is the same size as a regular EGO and is supposed to be a true 3.7V but that's debatable according to a lot of comments I've read.

I am saving up for a PROVARI - I have looked at all of the mods and it just seems to be the right one for me. Heck - my birthday is next week so I might go ahead and order it - LOL! I have found that I LIKE higher voltage vaping now (I didn't before) and I'm using my 5V passthrough a lot more now - it seems that the flavors taste much better at 5V.

Anyway - best of luck and let us know what you decide!

SAFETY ALERT

If you decide on a vv like the Buzz, just be sure to keep it well away from your happy place. One person on this Forum has been known to consistently set his crotch on fire by placing the Buzz in his lap and triggering the "on" button. I won't mention his initials, but his name is Ab.

This practice of lap burning has resulted in serious burns to his groin area and when you are only 3' 3" tall as he is, this results in injury to nearly one-third of the body.

On the other hand, this has led to a lucrative income for Ab as he is highly sought after by Ladies Clubs to perform his flaming lap dances.
