As far as wait times go, I'm very excited to report that I just burned through a lot of #s trying to gather up this next run. I think I'm at #140 on the list now. Odd, you may say, that I'm so excited about dropouts; but look . . . . . . I got friends n' peeps here, itching to get one, and it makes me so happy to tell them it's their turn. Meanwhile, I have this list of names of people I've never heard from again after a single PM, asking to be put on the list. Of course, it's my obligation to contact them, and when they do reply in the positive, and I see there's a real person on the other end of that username, I'm totally psyched to make them a mod. Like I said a while back, I can tell (based on who drops by here and who is just a mysterious username on the list, and the thickness of those patterns) that I've hit a patch where there's this large proportion of people who signed on because it was a bright shiny squirrel thing, and have basically completely forgotten all about it. So, estimated wait times may get smallerererer.

Speaking of developments, I haven't stopped giggling like a schoolgirl since I read this

It's a hazy image in my mind right now. It would be somewhat different. It would be quite different. This would be about designing the best mod I could (for me), the most creative, attractive, user friendly mod I could, with the new "rules for creativity" being: (1) allow for availing myself of a machine shop* and some professional machining (2) focus on blending hand shaped parts with always exactly the same machined parts. I imagine some people (maybe almost everyone) would opt for it. I could still make handmade runs of the classic design, I imagine. If I get a whole idea worked out to where I think it would work and I found it to be more appealing: then (after that) would be the time to worry about how it fits into reality.


*designing shapes and structures that I couldn't make myself, and couldn't repeat with precision.

I'd not spend too much time worrying about lists! There's one for the Dibi is all really. Some noobs keep calling it a Sumpin' - but those puns are all rather stale now, i suggest.

The last lot of atties - the Nuppins, were open to all after a short period when existing customers had first refusal. I see no reason why the new ones will be any different.

Your main drawback is that Dibby himself likely has limited experience of English men, and i've further tarnished their international reputation. Hard lines! Oh, i'm American too - had to do something when i was deported from my European playground.
