@X . . .. as for your more ideas: I don't want the bottom contact recessed in the wood, as it would require perfect alignment of assembly with every atty swapping. Bottom contact in switch needs to be proud of the cap, and by enough to clean it (re-shape, file, fine sand) numerous times. Also, it would be a dirt trap. (not good for contact points)
Well, I don't dislike the switch, I just don't LOVE it, it's just not got that 'gestalt' the Dibi does.... yet

. But you know, maybe that's just because the metal on top looks so very shiny and different. I'm one of those people who usually has to look at something for a while first before I fall in love with it...the Dibi was actually the exception to this, I was IN LOVE the first time I saw your video of Pdib [HASHTAG]#0001[/HASHTAG] and how it came together, and it was actually the first bottom feeder I wanted. At the time, I had no clue how a bottom feeder worked even

.
Dibi (or new design) has no issue with accidental firing anyway, because the button is
1. firm.
2. lower profile than the atomizer.
3. I wouldn't just pop it in my purse in the first place because I don't want to damage/scratch it

.
I was just talking about how after my own foolish firing incident (all my own fault, the mod has an 'off' switch that I didn't use), I thought a recessed button might not be a bad idea, as it can reduce/eliminate one concern for forgetful owners.
I just facepalmed... the recessed button idea HAS been done, I look at it on my desk every day, doh

... the Billet Box has a recessed button... oops! My excuse for forgetting that is that I put a RAISED decorative button on my own black desk model, and the other never goes anywhere

.
Right now, the dibi fire contact is under the top cap... it looks like it could be recessed on a regular dibi by making the button roughly 10 mm shorter, maybe (the height of the cap)?

But on a dibi, the button is cute
