Oh No's! All my bookmarks now bring me to the first page of this thread! Anyone have the link Alexander Mundy gave for how to wash the lead out of brass? Was it half vinegar half peroxide?

I know I've read it in several places on ECF, but I found it quicker outside. And now I recall reading this page before, too. Basically, 2 parts white vinegar to 1 part hydrogen peroxide.

NOPE.

this one is directly inspired by my design, by a friend and modder who actually was one of my early-days peeps. He had contacted me with the noble aim of asking how I felt about him making a metal mod which he said was heavily influenced by the design he'd enjoyed in his OliveRdibiSumpin' mod. I said, "how kind of you to ask!", and "of course!". We got to talking, comparing notes, and it all got to where we are going to mutually beta-test each other's mods. (him, my new "li'l squirt")

On a side note, I'm always honored when someone takes the time and does me the justice of asking how I feel about it, when they want to borrow from my design, or make a variation of it. Those people are exactly, and only, Cap'n Steve, Quigs, and C-C.

Looks like pdib might have slipped up and gave us the official name for his newest mod ^^.

I'm guessing the small size of the "li'l squirt" has been what is spoiling his paw.

yep. that's what I meant.

ADDIT: seems to me that it's a matter of who's vapin' and how they like it to feel. I can see where some folks are used to something filling their palm just right [go ahead . . . .]. The newer design doesn't feel big enough, in some ways. At least not right at first. My personal hand size, and the feel I like, the Li'l Squirt works great. (as does my new acquie)
