Just because I want to disgust you all.......my daughter in law is a 911 operator in one of the smaller precincts here in a bad part of town. They get this guy into the jail and he has oozing pus coming out his eyes so they call EMS to attend him. Can you guess what it was? Cyphillis gone really bad!
Now every once in awhile my daughter in law will ask one of the cops if they've heard anything on the guy with Cyp pus eyes and completely gross them out. Funny how squeamish they can be with the nasty job they do day in and day out!

oh, well she had contracted some sort of STD when she was younger, and it (like Syph . . .. heck, maybe was syph . .. only, she didn't know . .. so that makes it something more like Chlam . . . but I don't know if that travels up the ol' spinal chord like Syph does . . . .)
. . . where was I? . . .. . oh yeah . . . so it went dormant after an unnoticed initial outbreak down in the neither-here-nors and then later traveled up her ol' spineroony and started to eat her brain (←hyperbole? . . . . perhaps) . . .. . anyhooo . . . it ate something in there that left her feeling really happy all the time.

Just found it curious it being exact the same story as on house's show... It was syphilis btw and she got it at 18 during a wild night. Her husband never knew.
