Where are these matching drip tips coming from? I want to plan ahead.

Had Peter send back hunks of wood with the mods. Brian at drip tip designz did the tips. He did exactly what I asked for and had them in about a week. He does good work. Got them a day after the nuppins. I can easily say the Sumpins are now complete.

Yep. I can return leftovers, or extra from my stock. Also, when there's a few people want driptips from the same maker, I have been known to send a bunch there at the end of a run.

I decided to to warm up my original dual-coil Nuppin' build a bit. Dual 27 guage coils 3/32" diameter. Yes, the coils have some spacing on purpose -- they seem to gunk less that way and I'm running Boba's in this.

Nickel is fickle and gives me a tickle, while titanium is nuppin' but tasty!

Remember that 24 gauge titanium I got a while back and thought was unusuable? Well, a Nuppin' on top of a DNA40 kinda change that. This 3/32" coil shows 0.22 ohms, and happily runs temperature controlled, which means the wire will never get hot enough to oxidize. The only catch is I know the temps indicated aren't correct. Documenting a proper correction will be the topic of a different thread I hope to get started this week.

I'm serious about the nickel. Nichrome, R41, and Ni200 all seem to irritate my mouth and throat, which is why I'm willing go give away my spool of R41. I have some 26 and 28 gauge nichrome 60 too if anyone wants it.

Well, I hope the Ti works for you then, btw. Any other options that work with temp. control?
So far, so good, although I wonder if some 2 or 3 strands of 30 gauge twisted together might not be better than the single strand of 24 I'm running right now. I think stainless steel would probably work too since it has a similar temperature coefficient.

Wow, go fishin' for a day and I miss 6 pages! (And my Sumpin', of course).

OK so we have a few Old Bullets in this thread who remember Herb! :) I still listen to him and often have a few of his songs on my play list! And yes I'm an old bullet or as we are more commonly know in South Africa as Old Baalie's! :)

Add me to the bullet list. I grew up listening to Herb Alpert on LP and reel to reel tapes, too. And I think we watched all of their TV specials.

The specified size of the socket on the set screw is 0.9mm.

.9mm / 25.4mm = .0354"

Just FYI on ordering such hex tools

Well, I'll be. I got tired of buying precision screwdrivers from local hardware stores that were essentially single use, disposables. This little set I bought some years ago happens to include that little bit :) And it happens to sit on my vape station nowadays.

Yay I spy a Dibi Sumpin' on Todd's channel :)

Yay! I love waffles. And there's the video of building on a Nuppin' that I think I saw requested earlier.

OK, gotta go fishin' again. The Blackfin Tuna are running thick and close to shore around here.

Is this tuna suitable for sushi?
