yes indeedy. absolutely beautiful stuff going on over there! It would look good on some of these Nuppin' AFCs, I must say. :)

Indeed . . . if you're into that sort of thing. I'm a polished metal guy myself - probably due to my USN days - not that I like polishing metals - but I AM good at it - perhaps too much experience - I am also fairly good at neglect - but not with my PVs - and I promise not to neglect Nuppin'

Well that's good news. I wouldn't want someone messing around with my holes who doesn't even belong in my wheelhouse. Also I'm confused who patina'ed whom and why we have a whole nother kettle of fish cookin?

All I know is MamaTried probably started it.

and why do wheels need a house anyways?.....

Once you've been at sea in unfriendly weather, you'll know that answer. Heck, central CA with its nearly constant chill fog might be enough.

1986-1995 - not retired. Did 9 years with 5 years of sea duty. Second ship was homeported in Sandog and I did 3 yrs shore duty at SIMA SD. We used NEVR-DULL on all our brightwork. So, 6 years active duty in SD, then moved to Rancho PQ and stuck around 'til 2009.

I heard the new owner of Dready's door #20 may be around the PDIB thread. If you would like trade for a SL patina door, a different Dready door,or an Erlkonigin, or Vaporshark RDNA with a sharkskin,money,etc.etc. let me know. I had already paid Mark to try and get a door that reminded me of the ocean. He had know idea how i would feel about that one when he listed it. That door reminds me of a coral head diving in Maui that had a sea turtle under it, and a place in the Bahamas as a child where I found cowrie shells. I offered to buy when it was still listed as available, but I think you beat me to it on the multi forum/ Facebook thing. Anyway figured this was worth a shot.:)

Btw if this messes with the thread for PDIB or the mods no hurt feelings if you need to remove it. All the best.
