Sorry my inbox was full I guess. Received a invoice from someone and paid it. I assume it was you Peter or your wife idk.

Great community and I am happy this mod goes to a wonderful person that needs it in this hard time

yeppers. I couldn't send a PM: but rather than an "inbox full" message, I got a "isn't/can't accept messages" message.

OK, any PMs that I have received up to this moment will be included. I gotta stop at some point and do a quick math and reply to all the PMs without the numbers changing any more from this point forward. We are ice, solid, stopped, no more changes (think of the math . . . . the po' po' math ;))

P.S. you kids are the best! just the ding-dang fling-flangin' best!!! :D

Right back at you Peter. ;) Really felt strongly about this! So glad you were able to work it so I could be a part :)

Oh - totally unrelated, but this is, after all, the thread for that; i'd just like to list all the things i enjoyed about being confined to work all day on account of there being a company lunch.

T

paster? . . . did they serve?

short list, I see. And just who's idea was this company lunch .. . . Sir?

The GM's idea. Someone accused them of being 'behind the curve', ' reactive, not proactive' and those other buzz words that comprise my BS Bingo card.

So, to steal a march on those naysayers, there was a lunch - and the good news was that someone had survived a heart attack. Since that person's ambition seems to be to try out every piece of equipment in an average ICU, i cannot hide my disappointment.

The food was also cold and crap compared to HRH's, and i wish i just went home.

I'm convinced that GM now means 'genetically modifed' and not 'General Manager'.

Luckily for me, there is a manager's meeting next week, where i can once again attempt to teach those present to use cutlery and chew with their mouths closed.

I found with my boys, a thump with a fork to the noggin teaches them really fast that chewing with their mouth closed is a great option.

They are hardly heads of department, with eye-watering budgets, but every little helps.

I'm quite capable of being totally without manners myself and indeed my father used to remove his lower teeth to stir soup just for fun! I failed on occasion to adhere to certain cultural differences (fancy that!) and drank a fingerbowl in a restaurant, and complained it tasted like detergent.

slow, yes.

change, no.

I'd been experimenting with making shells for a 3D printed plastic mod that houses a dna system. It's a diy project type-style thing. This was a little batch of preliminary shells for some people's testes. (some brave, forward thinking, shampoo&conditioner-in-one type folk)
