I am rather fond of the Wraith. I have two of them. They're work mods-- I keep the REOs at home-- and they're excellent mods in general, although the TC is supposed to be inaccurate. Can't prove it by me, because I don't TC. But for straight wattage mods, I have no problems. Another low budget mod good for a beginner to find out if they like squonking is the Pico Squeeze. I also have one of those and it is also a work mod. Look out, though: the Pico is not a VW device. It is supposed to have low ohm protection, but it vapes like a mech, meaning it hits harder on a more charged battery (so do the REOs), with the power falling off as the battery discharges. If you are not used to mechs, this takes some getting used to. Still, you can't beat the price; I think I bought mine on sale for like $19, including a proprietary atomizer which, while not great, will do for work. Kanger, BTW, makes a mod similar to the Pico. I've never tried it, but my friend @pwheeler likes his.

I have 4 of the Dripbox 160's and have been my daily driver for about a year. I don't do TC, but I love them in power mode . I have a large variety of squonkers, all mechanical, except my LBC, which is a Lipo powered DNA 200 squonker. I use two of my Kangers at work daily and at home with the others. I only have to change batteries once a day. Never a glitch with them. My first one is looking a bit rough. It's a year old at least and the cheap black paint is worn off in quite a few places. Looked at, but never bought a Wraith. Or a Pico. I'm content with what I have. But I'm not using the garbage rdas that come with them. Running mostly Stumpys and Makers.

bougt the regulated wraith, dripbox 160, vtinbox and vv reo. the VT inboxes are what i keep only using 90% of time. not a pro at what is all available but, it is a great squonker mod to start with IMO (with a different RDA on top that is).

Is that a legit one or a clone?
In addition to what ever regulated squonk I get I was thinking about getting a Boxer clone. A review I saw said the clones aren't too good sometimes but are decent with a Fat Daddy 510, a different squonk bottle and new contacts. Basically just buy it for the box and replace everything.
I think I've seen them for like $12-13 dollars on some site and I just looked up the price of the Fat Daddy. Looks like about $5. I'm pretty good at soldering and have a decent understanding of electricity/electronics. I feel like I could put a mech mod together. I'm actually more concerned about getting into building coils than the idea of putting a mod together.

no soldering necessary... Copper bending skills are a plus.

Boxer 30ml Super Soft Squonk Refill Bottle - Ginger Vaper

Holy vapors of the Gods! That thing is awesome. I don't know about that specific bottle, just the concept.
The ability to pour from a big glass/hard plastic bottle into a bottle that basically physically connects to the squonk bottle to fill it from outside the mod would save so many paper towels.
(that sounds like something a hippie would say. I just mean it is potentially less messy)
I just realized it could also be used as a dripper bottle.

This whole idea of squonkers is just getting better and better.

I have this bottle after using it on a boxer bf, I switched some other squonkers out with the soft 7ml and fill them this way. No mess easy pesy, only reason to remove squonk bottle is to clean it. I wouldn't recommend if your squonk pin has a small inside diameter ie.. coppervape or it a tube doesn't connect to the squonk pin ie.. wraith. Works great with a REO.

Both the mod and the atty are authentic. Getting used to squonking but liking it so far

Have you decided on a purchase. I am highly recommending the HCIGAR VT inbox Dna75....its probably on sale right now for $76 delivered via gearbest/flash sale ......im extremely confused as to how they are able to sell this mod for such a low price .... I don't get it?!!

I've been vaping since 2009, squonking since 2012 I have 2 sunboxes and 3 reos all of which are collecting dust as they are my inside mods. The inbox hasn't been advertised as such.... but, I have found that it is in fact WATERPROOF .... I found this out the hard way, long story but its been completely submerged three times and all that happened was that I noticed the Dna screen filled up with water. I removed the battery, shook off the mod, dried it with a towel and set a blow dryer on it for 15-20 minutes and it powered right up. It's been dropped numerous times, on concrete, ceramic tile, from the waist.... only minor dings.... Try splashing water on a sunbox or dropping it and I can assure you, you'd be sending it back to Italy for a repair where the postage costs about as much as the price tag for this mod . .... It's such an amazing mod for the money $76!!! (it's worth $150 Imo)..... that it really doesn't have any cons. I don't consider weak magnets on the doors to be a cons. But let's say it was a $150 mod, a definite con would be the fixed 510. If you screw a pulse 22 ( longer 510 ) on it.... then replace it with a velocity (shorter) you're going to have to wiggle that 510 pin back up to make contact with a shorter velocity. I use a bent hypo needle to catch the inside of the 510 and turn the mod to bring it back up to the correct hgt for contact...... Minor annoyance, but I'll deal with that issue any day because of the price! This mod litterally costs as much as a retail Dna75 board that it houses.... It's AAAAmazingggg! I bought mine via gearbest during a flash Sale... Which I've noticed goes on for long periods of time. Eve if not advertised as a flash Check all of the colors because 1 out of the 3 might be on sale.

**Tbh I'd wait for the BLACK or RED anodized frame, they look AWESOME ..... if there not already available (?) I saw a pre order for them a few weeks ago..... sorry I didn't do any searches prior to my leaving this comment. Good luck, good vaping!!

Edit: not allowing me to copy the link but gearbest, red and black on sale $77 right now..... Sweeeeeeeet.. I'm getting another!

Fasttech has the mod only for $62 and change and the have all the colors-

Authentic HCigar VT Inbox 75W TC VW APV Box Mod

The Kit ranges from $70 and change to $78 though I'm not sure why. I am definitely thinking about getting another one since there is no word on the 75c version

I've been vaping on and off for about 2 years. I recently got back into it and I want to step up my game. I've never dripped or used a rebuildable.
I was thinking about just getting an RDA for my current mod, then I discovered squonk mods.
I've been looking at the CoV Wraith. My other option is the Dripbox 160.
I'm leaning towards the Wraith right now. The Dripbox has dual batteries which could be a plus. Size doesn't matter much because it will mostly be for vaping at home (won't be walking around with it) it just needs to be comfortable in my hand. But on the same note since I will be mostly using it at home I will have access to several batteries.
I'm also thinking about using the Pulse 22 squonk RDA. I really like the vents and the fact that it was designed specifically for squonk mods by an avid squonk user.
I'm going to be using prebuilt Claptons/aliens until I get more used to how things work.
Any opinions and comments are welcome. I don't want to get in over my head or end up with something of questionable quality.
You are literally me, I've been looking into squanking for days and also have never used an RDA in my life, I've got a velocity style RDA clone coming today, duel posts and have been watching videos about how to install the pre built alien coils I've got as I hear they are amazing at wicking and holding juice! How have you got on? I'd be interested as we are both doing down the same path [emoji23]

That door looks hideous IMO (to each their own) but that look like a 4 year old attempting artwork ....i guess that's where our savings will go...... Toward the extra doors listed on gearbest.?? Hmmm ..... The art Looks soo bad it has me wondering if FT is selling oem or "styled" clones? Buttons also look a little different??

Ya not my color choice either. I did get the leather doors for my first one and they are nice (fasttech has them too) If I get a second one, it will be a backup, so I will get the silver one because when I need it, it will be because my first one is dead.

I know that you can get skins for the doors from Jwraps so I may try one of those

I ran into a little financial hiccup. I had to take money out of my new vape fund to fix my car.
I'm back in action now though. At least it gave me a little more time to figure out what I want.
I'll definitely be going with a Pulse 24. The 22 is a bit cheaper but the 24 has more build options (double or single coil). It also has a better channel to direct the juice into the wells.
After doing a little more research on the mod itself and the DNA75 chip it sounds like the Hcigar vt Inbox is the way to go. The only thing to figure out now is style/color. The most popular thing seems to be silver with wood panels. It looks really cool but I don't know if I want my mod to look like all the others. I'm thinking about a black mod I just don't know which panels I want. I'll probably get a couple extra sets since they are only about $5. And if I don't like the looks of any of them, paint or hydrodip will take care of it.
I think black with wood panels might look cool, but I can't find any pictures of that combination so I'm not sure if it will look good.

As far as colors the new anodized are red and black but when the pre order was listed they had the coolest door colors and designs.... Now I'm only seeing these ugly color swirls designs with red and black. I remember seeing a red door option w/ a cool warrior design.....also the American flag can't be purchased separately.....to buy with the red..... Fasttech has the mod (kit) w/ 2 different doors color options but you cant choose..?..... the original ones that I remember and are now missing from the listing at Fasttech and gearbest .... Hmmmmm. Strange!
