If you were planning on joining us in Sacramento tomorrow regarding AB1500 there is an important update I need to share with you all. I got news through a highly respected source that tomorrows hearing on AB1500 is being rescheduled for next week. However, we have not been able to get 100% confirmation on that and calls have yielded nothing more than that its still on the schedule for tomorrow. This presents us with a tricky situation because if we do attend the hearing we might be there in vain and have wasted our time, essentially. There is also a chance that an amendment is in the works (also from a reputable source) that will be agreeable for everyone. If that happens to be the case we plan on going there to support the bill, create some goodwill, and show that vapers are not just people who show up to protest things all the time.
My wife and I are going unless before tomorrow morning 7am we get confirmation about the rescheduling because if its not being rescheduled well need vaper representation there to do what we originally panned to do. Were an hours drive away so while it still ends up taking a huge chunk out of the day its a "calculated risk" we need to take.
